Hotel Jakobslust

Staff were helpful despite there being a language barrier - if needed they used a translator app. The whole place was immaculate. We only had breakfast on one day but it was wonderful.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the apartment. There was a hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave but no kettle, dishes, cups, mugs or cutlery etc so could not make a cup of tea or coffee. Only 2 glasses. There was no comfortable seating - only a dining table and chairs.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite (apartment) which was nice.

Check in only available til 8pm, we had to call to tell them that we would be there 8:30pm, but this was a challenge because they did not speak any English and started shouting down the phone to us in German (luckily my partner speaks a tiny bit of German and muddled through). The room had a kitchen...but nothing in it, very odd - you had to pay to have things in the kitchen..Not even a kettle in there, which is usually the standard for ALL hotel rooms everywhere. Breakfast was passable. It was continental and then you could order eggs to be cooked. Nothing special and would not recommend to anyone, we only stayed because of a wedding close by.

Very slippery on way in. The staff knew but not gritted. Dangerous!Maybe have low level music in breakfast room as it felt oddly quiet and you were very aware that you were talking and it sounded loud.A bit difficult to find.

The Hotel is very clean and the room dimensions and facility are over a common range in GermanyIt was very cold outside -7 and they never stop the heating system in order to be able to adjust personal preference. Many hotel stop at night, this one not and this is very good, especially in such a cold moment avoiding a great temperature drop.The silence of the location is great, very relaxing

A boiling pot could be nice to have in room for just make a tea or a quick coffe.

One of the staff members were very rude. Tuting and shushing us as we walked to and from our room without us doing any wrong tourist with children from england do visit germany!!

Room was great, clean, very comfortable. Central location so easy walk in to town centre.

Very clean,modern furnishings. Lovely walk-in shower, plenty of hot water. Controlable radiators.

continental breakfast. not a huge range but all the bases are covered, you will be satisfied but not amazed. room was comfortable. room had a strange layout, I feel they could of made more of it, however, I appreciate that it is done in a way to please a wide range of people. the room facilities were good, well maintained, and were clean.
