- The location
Cons -
- Breakfast was a little disappointing after having such good food at lunch and evening otherwise would have rated property 10/10
- The room with the balcony is too exposed to the people that passes by, so you have to keep the door closed if you don’t want to be completely seen . The room is ok but you feel it needs some renovations: there’s no plug close to the bed, the courtains are a bit dismounted, someFurniture is damaged. These are important details for the price paid
- Didn't like the fact the the bathroom had a window into the bedroom. Although there was a blind you were still able to see through into the bathroom if someone was in there. Could easily be rectified. My husband found the bed hard but I was OK with it.

Fair sized room nice balcony overlooking the bay. Staff on front desk very helpful and pleasant.

Location is great, great room esp with us having a dog with us. Restaurant food was incredible as was breakfast. Huge bath towels which is rare these days.Underground parking too.
It was faultless so highly recommend.
The room was comfortable and the bar and restaurant were both good. I like the location very much and it was easy to find. The staff were very pleasant.
I was sorry that we were unable to get the breakfast included with our room. We were due to depart at 8:30 to catch a ferry and the breakfast service begins at 8:30. I should have checked the time but it did feel a bit late to start serving. The hotel did suggest we could go in early and they did accommodate us with coffee and fruit, so it was ok in the end.
Loved the location, nice room with comfortable amenities, very friendly staff, easy on-site parking, lively bar and courtyard seating area.0

Everything! The room, size of the room, bed, window view, staff, breakfast!
I liked everything
Stunning building and wonderful waterfront location. Easy safe street parking (which was free) and lovely garden & terrace. The room was spacious, comfortable bed and fabulous large windows with views of the garden. Very easy access to Bilbao as the metro is 10 minute walk away. Nice residents lounge with terrace overlooking the water and coffee. Coffee machine and water in rooms. Really helpful staff.
Liked everything
The staff were very friendly, especially the reception men Xabi especially. We ate mostly away from the hotel with friends but what we had at Embarcadero was good. The location is excellent with views overlooking the harbour and easy walking to the Metro for trips into Bilbao.
I feel it's time for some redecorating, wallpaper and paint is peeling catch it before it becomes a problem and all will be well but I do like the art deco approach. It's a beautiful building and the views are great, if I visit again I will choose Embarcadero!
Location by sea lovely, staff helpful and rooms and areas very nice.
Clean, well presented, parking.
Proximity to Bilbao Port is exaggerated. The bar/restaurant was exceptionally busy and a separate residents’ bar is really required to upgrade the experience. It felt way too much like a locals’ pub.
Location , staff accomadation excellent . Have recommended to my friends . It was just perfect and we will definitely return . Also we had two Labradors with us and it was just brilliant .
To be honest nothing it ticked all our boxes
The hotel decorations and style were really nice. The service was really welcoming and friendly. The restaurant downstairs was top!
Good location, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, friendly staff
Location, staff, garage
Nothing really
The hotel is lovely. I had a pet friendly room which opened onto a little terrace which was perfect. The decor and setting of the hotel is fabulous.
The restaurant was a bit pricey for what you got.
The location for our journey - and our room with a great sea view and balcony. The food was also good. They are dog friendly. Secure car parking.
Location, the rooms, facilities, but the friendliness of the staff is the most impressive thing
Nothing, it’s fantastic
Beautiful spaces and location. Great attention to detail.
Price of meals compared to other menus in Spain were extremely high.
