- A wonderful boutique hotel with excellent service!”We stayed at this hotel and were absolutely delighted. Clean, comfortable rooms, delicious and varied breakfasts. The staff is friendly and professional, always ready to help. The atmosphere is cozy, and you can truly feel the care for guests. What makes this place even more special is its incredible setting—an oasis of peace and natural beauty where you can relax in comfort without compromising on top-quality service. A perfect blend of harmony, tranquility, and hospitality. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
- Breakfast excellent dinner very expensive and didn’t quite meet up with expectations
- This is an accommodation with a nice location in the forest with a beautiful garden. Service is very good. The room had the amenities one would expect in a high standard hotel. Dinner was a tasting menu with wonderful dishes.
Cons -
- The shower flooded the bathroom Nowhere to put cases but being picky Not sure what one should expect from 5 star hotel
- Be prepared to walk up narrow steep stairs as there is no elevator. However, the staff will help carry bags up and down the stairs. I got a resonable, though high price for the room via Hotels.com Generally a quite pricy hotel.
- Sadly, the weather was not cooperative and so we were not able to do the walking that we had intended to do on the property because of the rain. We are imagining it would be lovely to come in better weather when the pool is open and available.

The pool, the garden, the house style, the food
We loved staying in this property, which had extensive grounds. They contacted us in advance and offered us a choice of rooms. The rooms are located in either the main building or in separate buildings. We had a lovely, historic room with a small sitting area. While there were other bedrooms in the building there was no noise transfer. breakfast was exceptional, with a large buffet, offering many choices in the beautiful main dining room. We appreciated being able to dine on site the previous evening.
Sadly, the weather was not cooperative and so we were not able to do the walking that we had intended to do on the property because of the rain. We are imagining it would be lovely to come in better weather when the pool is open and available.
Wow!A wonderful experience from the moment you enter the complex until you leave. The place itself is beautiful, an ancient and special building, a large and elaborate room, a pleasant and luxurious bath. The evening meal was above and beyond any expectation - an experience of flavors, wonderful service and everything was done precisely and with a smile. The place is surrounded by a stunningly beautiful forest, a short bike trip through the forest was a beautiful and experiential experience. The staff is pleasant, helpful and helpful in everything.Without a doubt we will recommend to our friends and will return.
There is not much to say negatively.Due to the season, we didn't get to use the pool, so it's hard to express our opinion about it.
Great place to stay to enjoy beautiful nature around.Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant and service was great. The hotel is very family friendly, with many possible activities and attention to details for the younger guests.
Gorgeous estate in the Dutch countryside, 1.5 hours by car from Amsterdam. The rate itself includes half board and you dine at a 1 Michelin star restaurant (excellent food!). We traveled with our 5 year old and really enjoyed our stay. The gardens, heated outdoor swimming pool and our room was great. We had the deluxe room overlooking the front lawn of the estate. It included a small sitting area and a generously sized, modern bathroom. Once you make your reservation, the property informs you that children are not permitted to watch/use phones or their tablet in the dining room, but they could watch it in the salon next to it. I was a bit concerned at first, as how can I expect a 5 year old to sit through 3 nights of 4 course meals? But the dining room is lively, so you don’t have to whisper and the salon has glass windows so you can watch your child if they go there while you eat. The reception team was great, helped us book e bikes and horse riding lessons.
It was an excellent stay, the service is more casual than we expected and some of the staff less seasoned. Overall everyone was very friendly.
The hotel has the most wonderful location in the middle of the woods and the hotel itself and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately the weather let us down so we could not spend too much time by the pool, or cycling around the area but as the pool is heated we managed to have a quick swim before we left.Of course due to Covid we were restricted to having dinner and breakfast in our room but they made the very best out of a difficult situation, from the champagne at 6pm to the delicious and ample breakfast the next morning.I can imagine that Christmas here would be truly magical with all the fireplaces on and the hotel decorated beautifully and so I look forward to coming back.
The bed was not very comfortable but for the rest, Covid meant that we could not enjoy the hotel at its best which is of course not the hotels fault but in my opinion perhaps the prices could reflect this. Also in this day and age I would expect all the tv channels that I get at home but they only have a limited number of channels. But nothing that would put me off coming back as it really is a stunning property
Great Location, Fantastic food, Great Staff, Great for Families
The Sofa bed was a good sofa, but a terrible bed. That should be replaced.
Beautiful area, amazing staff and very good food
No points we did not like
The main building and the gardens are simply stunning. The staff is very professional and friendly. The location in the Veluwe is perfect. Our breakfast and dinner were all exceptional.
Our room (comfort room) was dated with carpet on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was renovated and quite modern. I was disappointed that the room itself was quite dated. By reserving it was not clear how to reserve a room in the main building, that was our preference.
beautiful location in a nice area
restaurant was a big disappointment
The food and service was incredible
A little bigger room.
