€10 to get a beach towel, €2 for each pool game, staff were rude, no service on the beach or chairs there

Great atmosphere it feels like being on a cruise

As per the reservation I had access to the SPA but in actuality they wanted 20 Euros to use it

Lovely feel to the place super clean rooms good size very happy with stay all inclusive was good lots of choice

Bed was not super comfy was quite hard but very large

Delgations of kids werw huge. Noise at dinner and queue were un beareable. The hotel should let know in advance about those kids delegation, so we could make reservations somewhere else

Just home from a week at this resort , could not find fault with any part of our stay. The buffet breakfast lunch and dinner was just unreal quality and variety. The cleanliness of the hotel was Suberb. Facilities were excellent. Very enjoyable all round

Spa doesn’t open till 12 would have liked to have gone earlier and be in the sun after 12

- Spatious and comfortable rooms- Fabulous spa with diverse treatment options- Friendly staff and a lot of animations for kids- But... noisy and very crowded at meal times- Perfect for families with young children, not so much for couples willing to rest

The hotel is very spacious, the breakfast selection is good, the rooms are spacious, the swimming pools are very good. Staff all spoke good english.

The evening meals are OK but nothing special. The bidet in the room didnt work and it took 2 visits to fix it ! Car parking at in April was OK but I suspect in high season it may be difficult unless you pay 12 euros per night, Air con was turned off which at night you needed. Unless you stay in the hotel all day you need a car there is nothing around it, no bars no cafes.

the location is very nice, close to wonderful and large sandy beach, the hotel is big complex with many pools, in main season could be crowded but at the end of October was very comfortable and everywhere was enough space, SPA area is highly reccommended

the breakfast buffet was good , but we expected more local food with higher quality, coffee was not very tasty

Loved our room this time overlooking the sea and pool (did not like our room the last time we stayed, it was in the shade and overlooked by the opposite block).The staff were friendly and very efficient. The pool area was lovely and plenty of room.

Dinner was sometimes loud and crowded although we tried to avoid the busy times. We have stayed twice in the last month and wanted to book again for 2 weeks next May and 2 weeks next October but only if we could have a room on the top floor of block 7, the hotel said they would try their best but couldn’t guarantee it. We do not want to risk a room similar to the first time we stayed so we will probably try another hotel on the Costa Ballena, which is a shame.

Great facilities. Very clean. Very nice offers for kids (kids pool, kids club, mini-disco, etc). Very beautiful hotel area. Only downside was that all the entertainment, also for the kids, was in spanish only. Overall pretty good value for money

Food was mediocre at best. Some meat dishes in the evening buffet were quite good, but the vast majority of everything was of poor or mediocre quality, mainly due to unskilled and non-careful preparation. Coffee at breakfast was horrendously bad. All of the drinks and food served outside of the main restaurant (pool bar, etc) was like at a cheap public swimming pool or similar, definitely not 4 star hotel level.

Room was a good size. Swimming pool area very spacious and clean. Liked that the pool area was closed until 10:30 so there was no saving sunbeds, of which there were plenty. Food very good especially the Wok station. Coeliacs well catered for. A special mention to Maribela, Josefina, Alexandra and Eva in the restaurant who showed genuine friendliness, concern and helpfulness to us both but especially making sure my husband’s gluten free needs were well met, excellent service from them and Best Hotels should be proud to have them on their staff. Thank you.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The toilet paper could have been better quality. Smoking by the block entrances. View from our room straight into the next block. We asked to change rooms but none available except for an upgrade which we were willing to take, but the view from the room wasn’t good either. We would stay again and have booked for next May but only if it was a superior south facing room. The hotel has not replied to our request, so as yet not sure if we will return or cancel.

All was good. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and great dinner options. Property with access to the beach. We were there in September and 90% of guests were Spanish.

The check-in was fast. (We did the pre check in online). The hotel and the views are amazing. It is perfect for children. The kid's pool and park are awesome. It also has a Game Room to take the kids after dinner! The room was clean and spacious, the matresses are very confy. The balcony is very spacious and even has hangers to dry your swimwear. It's a big hotel but quite easy to move around. The buffet (breakfast and dinner) has a LOT of choices. It's good for picky eaters. Walking distance from the beach.

At the check-in, there is important information that is not given! They should inform you that the pool towels have a deposit of 10€/each, in cash. For us, this was very unpleasant. We went to get the towels ready to go to the pool with no wallets, and we couldn't withdraw any cash with our virtual cards(we were just carrying our phones)and our room was in the furthest building. Another thing was the room credit account. We didn't know we had to ask for this. We knew we had to pay for the drinks at dinner, they give you a paper with the drinks you had. So, after dinner, we just walked out. Thinking we would pay for this at the check out. At breakfast we were told that we were supposed to pay for the drinks when we exit the respective meal because we didn't have a room credit. They should also explain what services are included. There is a gym and spa and a bunch of things. We were very confused about what we could use or had to pay extra. To access the restaurant, you have to carry a paper around. Why not just use your room card? We forgot to bring the water wings(floaties) for the kid so we asked at the reception, the man said we could get it near mercadona, but as we walked around the pool inside the hotel we found a litle store that sells these and other useful things!The pillows are not very good, but the toilet paper is the worst! It is a shame that in a 4 star hotel they still have the thiniest toilet paper.

Not that I didn’t like it, but the buffet dinner and breakfast were OK. I have had a lot better.

The property is well-maintained, close to the beach, and the buffet-style food is very good with a wide variety--something for everyone! The room has a nice balcony, and the rooftop pool with cabanas is very nice.

The bed was a bit too hard for me, and the Spanish serve dinner way later than Americans are used to! It was hard to adjust to that, being only half-board (breakfast and dinner).

During our stay, we were informed on the second day that we couldn’t charge anything to our room without paying a deposit first. This meant we had to carry our phones and purses with us everywhere, which was inconvenient. For lunch and dinner, you must present a paper given at check-in. Unfortunately, the staff were not very friendly when we forgot our paper one day. Despite being able to see on their system that we were eligible for dinner since we hadn’t had lunch, they still insisted on us providing the paper. The dinner hall wasn't very clean, with dirty plates and mediocre food. Additionally, the pool towels were old and stained, which was disappointing.

The entertainment guys, absolutely amazing, so much energy, so friendly. Carlos, such a friendly man, every breakfast started in a good mood. The cleaning staff, so friendly and helpful, they really care about you
