Disappointing

I was there for one night in a room already paid for with my wife, I was asked to pay full price again . The costs spiralled as I added breakfast and parking to €137 . I was supposed to stay again on my wife’s last day instead I went to a four star hotel near by and paid on € 59 breakfast tax and parking included. I think that this is unacceptable and of course we will not be staying again. It’s not a rant it’s fact. Please take a look at your policies otherwise others might follow my example.

The hotel and staff are excellent, I have stayed in many hotels in Cattolica and VPH is by far the best. The beachside pool is brilliant for the children.

Great location, easy parking and beautiful atrium.

Rooms are very small and no sound insulation. You can hear everything from the next adjacent room.

Lobby, dining areas and bars were very nice. Smarter than other local hotels

Rooms not the same standard, bathroom old and tired. Balcony was nice but for the money would have expected better quality. Breakfast very average. Hardly any hot choice

Perfect location, stayed before, staff helpful and polite. Air-conditioning a little poor as only made the wardrobe cool but we managed! Room small but typical for the area.

Excellent location being right on the beach. I booked a room directly overlooking the beach - a sea view is very important to me so it was worth every penny. Very good buffet breakfast, catering for most dietary choices and you can opt to eat in or outside on the lovely terrace with very pleasant attentive staff serving drinks.

Although the hotel is clean and the front and rear areas are very attractive, I do feel that the rooms need refurbing and updating - well mine did anyway! I would hazard a guess that the rooms haven't been updated since the hotel opened?

Breakfast taken once - I preferred to go elsewhere. Location marvellous.

Gym with brand new equipment

Ground floor and basement were recently renewed, therefore nice and attractive. All other stories, included the rooms were we slept, were still old fashioned and barely in line with a 4 star rating. All services except the gym came with additional charge (parking lot, entrance to the spa). They do inform about the charges in the hotel’s description, but it remains unreasonable, given those services are the very reason why such an hotel can be attractive and pay back its expensive bill.

Beautiful entrance, great sushi restaurant (compliments to the staff and waiter), very close to the beach and town centre. Staff is nice although some barely speak English.

Room is outdated, but we didn’t mind this so much. What we didn’t like is that it was very noisy. We could hear every sound in the hotel. This kept us up at night as we heard loud neighbors at 2 am (it sounded as if we were in their room), noise from other bathrooms (toilet flushes, hairdryers), karaoke bar next door, noise from the kitchen downstairs, glass container beint emptied and housekeeping speaking very loudly in the hallways in the morning. Also keep in mind there is no AC so the room got really warm. Basically we didn’t get much sleep.

Right on the beach so perfect for access to the sea. The lobby and common areas are really lovely, beautifully designed and luxurious. The spa is also a wonderful experience.

The rooms are a little Spartan compared to the common areas but they are perfectly serviceable. I would say they are in line with what we paid and everything else about the hotel was above and beyond what we expected.

The strategic place is really good.

Even if the check out it at 10:00 the cleaning ladies start cleaning at 7:00-7:30. I was woken up by vaccum cleaners and a lot of noise - this is not really something that is relaxing…

Location is perfect and the communal areas are nicely refurbished.

It is a shame that so many rooms have still not been refurbished and are quite tired and old. For the price of the stay and compared to other hotels in the area, you would expect a room that is slightly more modern. I have stayed a number of times in different style rooms, but they have all been rather dated.

Very nice breakfast - the kids enjoyed the choice and in particular the nutella pancakes.Very nice location, sea view. Room was as described, with a shutter which was perfect to have a good night sleep.

the air con was not functioning when not in the room, and took time to cool down the room.we could hear our neighbors a bit.Please note that the beach in front is not the hotel beach club, and you need to pay for it.

Central, beach front, nice design in common areas, old-fashioned family room with sufficient room (for a short stay), very clean, loads of toiletries and towels. Very good breakfast (kids were happy). Confortable beds.
