Parador de Cambados

Everything! From the location, rooms and facilities everything was on point and beautiful. There are lots of places to visit and shop around the hotel. The restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast and dinner were both plentiful and delicious ?

Location was very good for exploring this part of the Galician coast

Most of the reception desk staff was not friendly, and most did not speak English, or make it easy for communication.

A beautiful old house turned in a luxury hotel - Parador style. If you love history and being surround by old building charm, you'll love this. There is no better lodging location in all of Cambados. You are 2 minute walk from everything.

Lovely Parador with Spanish feel. Nice terrace/courtyard for drinks and good breakfast. Short walk into the main part of the old town where there are some good restaurant choices.

Our only regret with the stay was that we were only there for one night. Definitely a second night would have been a delight. The staff were very good (but not exceptional) and the building and environment lived up to expectations. We really enjoyed the setting right in the middle of things and found the location to be very walk-able. The view from the room over the pool and the room itself just felt right and was very relaxing and comfortable.

On the whole, I would not suggest anything. Nothing fell short of expectations and a few things exceeded.

Internet not working - quality of bar food not great

Excellent location in the old town, easy walking distance to the bars and restaurants.The hotel building is an old Pazo and is worth the experience of a stay in such an amazing place.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. The only small thing we would have liked was to be able to order a coffee in the morning without having to have the whole breakfast

For a 4star I think that the shower head needs updated to a large one and a coffee/ tea maker should be provided

Good location close to the ocean and old town.

Bad management. The manager at the hotel was very rude and argumentative when we complained about the air conditioning not working. It was very hot, 37 degrees outside and almost unbearable in the room. We understand that things can’t be fixed just like that but the managers attitude and disrespectful comments towards my wife was totally uncalled for. It was so bad that we feel like we should make a formal complaint.

We spent the night here during a hurricane, and listened to the wind and rain through the night. But what a lovely place to be! The woman at reception was very helpful and pleasant, and service and food in the restaurant were great. It's a wonderful place to spend a night!

Location was perfect. Building is beautiful. We had a great breakfast.

Our room was very small with a small double bed. We were expecting bigger room with bigger bed as per the pictures shown on Booking. Not very happy with the room.

The location is really central, the staff are very efficient and the breakfast was really good. The hotel was very clean and quiet so we slept well. I think this hotel is better than the average rating suggests. We enjoyed our stay here.

That no food was available from 15:30 to 20:30

Excellent stay in a perfectly located hotel. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a lovely terrace for drinks, and the pool was refreshing.

The sunbeds were uncomfortable which made relaxing by the pool difficult. The pool also did not open until 11.

A little dated

The building is so impressive and beautiful, but very calm and relaxed at the same time. It's ideally located in the older part of the town near gorgeous restaurants. I loved hanging out in the garden and swimming in the pool. It is a real treat.

Nothing really.

It is a beautiful building, with so much history and charm. The courtyard bar area is pleasant. The bed was soft and comfortable. The location in town is great and very walkable to lots of restaurants and the bay front. Having parking in this town seems to be a rare thing, so that was appreciated.

The pool area could have used a little fixing up, as the pool furniture was a bit old and dirty, but the garden area around the pool was pretty.

The building is a lovely old building with good interiors. The location is excellent right in the centre of Cambados and with free parking. There was a bustling bar with good service (and great tapas with drinks!) and we enjoyed our stay. We were pleased to play tennis and have access to the court most of the day.

The swimming pool is not quite as it appears in the photo, in reality it was a little tired and around the back. We were asked to reserve a table for breakfast at 1 of 4 slots in advance, which didn’t feel to go with the relaxed window of time option typically given. We were unsure of how long we would sleep so ended up having breakfast outside the hotel each day instead. Perhaps we missed something epic!
