Buyukada Cankaya Hotel

This is my second stay at the same hotel. Both has been a pleasure. Great staff, clean rooms and awesome location. Definitely recommended.

Breakfast and pool was good

Manager was absolutely awful! Worst one I have ever seen. Toilet didn’t work, electric outlet was broken.

The stairs were very steep and a bit narrow. No elevator (lift).

Very good location. The facility is nice and well-kept. spacious rooms and a comfortable bathroom.

Strange atmosphere, as foreigners we felt quite alien and like intruders. Monotonous breakfasts. What bothered me the most was the fact that no one cleaned our room during our 6-day stay, which I consider a big minus considering that we paid almost €700 for those 6 days. Once I pointed out that the room was dirty and that we didn't have clean towels and toilet paper, so these things were brought, but no one even took out the garbage.

It was clean and comfortable.

Internet was terrible. I had to work on Zoom, the connection is super weak. I was disappointed because I was choosing a hotel with WI-Fi. So I was using my Internet for all 3 days. There was no filter coffee for breakfast.

Breakfast was very nice and the ladies in the kitchen were very friendly. .balconies had a nice street view.

They had fresh paint in the rooms and in the hallways . The odor was very strong, and we got a headache from it. The toilet was clogged, and i asked for a plunger, but they didn't provide one. In the first morning, we didn't have any water because water pressure was low. They said they dont have a water pump to support water pressure. The pool was advertised on the website but it was closed so we couldn't swim. Minibars were not working, so we couldn't have any cold water.

Location is good, great seaview and sunsets.

I asked for the largest room, and they told, that this is the largest room. But in fact, the next room was a lot larger and it was empty. Noone sugeested me to move into it The neighbours were having sex for 5 times in a day for 2 days, and I could clearly hear them every time.The room is "smoking free" in the description, but in fact there was a strong sigarette odor everywhere.The wi-fi is pretty weak, it was almost impossible to work there.The lightning is poor, many dead bulbs.

Friendly staff. They upgraded our room without charging extra money.

It's on the good location on the island. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool was nice but it wasn't heated. Balcony was nice.

Facilities are aged. TV is local and has no internet channel.

Excellent staff behavior, location, and tasty breakfast

Location is excellent, about 5-10 mins walk from the ferry terminal. The.hotel has a certain faded grandeur like a lot of properties on the island. The guy on reception was great & dealt with any queries. Pool area is absolutely lovely & well maintained. There’s a separate breakfast room & terrace which is also lovely; good coffee & usual Turkish fare.

Nothing- it met my expectations

The pool was good. I liked the breakfast that we had eaten at the restaurant. And the employees were very kind and friendly.

I didn't like the room first of all. The screen door had been giving issues we needed to be hard when we closed that. Also the room was very small for two people. I couldn't turn on the air-condition. I got flu and I wanted to make it warm but it wasn't work with warm part.

It’s location is great. It’s an attractive hotel with a nice pool and breakfast area.

The rooms and rest of hotel are a bit frayed around the edges. Housekeeping is zilch, floors not swept. They don’t seem to maintain the hotel properly.

It's pet friendly, not so easy to find pet friendly hotels and especially beaches in the island. Location is perfect,a few minutes away from the crowd of the main square, very calm and easy to reach.

Need some renovation,we found the bathroom wet and in the ac was not cleaned the filter, so if you have an allergy to dust, it's gonna be a problem. The pool is very nice, but it was impossible to use it because there are not enough beds.

Norhing was really bad. it wasn’t pristine, a bit shabby. But no real complaints.

Awful hotel. Unfriendly staff. Illegally overcharged.

Everything about this place was awful. The staff were so unfriendly. The breakfast was dry and cold. There was no fresh juice or coffee. There was a couple staying there when we were and they just kept everyone awake at night as they had loud sex with their doors open. It felt like staying at a trashy motel. The hotel overcharged me and in multiple amounts which booking.coN has done nothing about. Charging in multiple amounts meant I got charged a transaction fee every time. Disgusting place, horrible people, stay away. Not a nice hotel at all.

The location is very good, close to the port and central streets. The pool is clean, the furniture in the pool area is new and comfy. The staff is friendly.

We had a room on the ground floor, probably that’s why it smelled humidity in the room and it didn’t seem a cozy place to stay. The breakfast was quite poor.
