Pros +
- Location: Perfectly situated between Lake Garda and Verona, making it an ideal spot for exploring both areas.Cleanliness: The property was well-maintained, and the room was clean, though quite basic.Bar: The bar was a nice touch, staying open until 23:30, offering a great spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing.Breakfast: The breakfast selection was rather basic, with limited choices. It didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of variety or quality.Room: The room was clean, but again, quite basic. It lacked any standout features but served its purpose for a short stay.Overall: While the location and cleanliness are big positives, the basic breakfast and room may not appeal to those looking for extra comfort or variety. It’s a solid option if you don’t mind the simplicity.
- I recently stayed at Hotel Centro Turistico Gardesano and overall had a pleasant experience with a few notable highlights and some areas that could use improvement.First, the location was great—well-positioned for exploring the surrounding area, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the pool areas, which were clean, well-maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, particularly the mattress, which provided excellent support and contributed to a restful night’s sleep. In conclusion, while I enjoyed certain aspects of my stay, especially the friendly staff, pool areas, and comfortable bed, the dining experience was a letdown. If you’re not too concerned with the food and are looking for a well-located, budget-friendly option with great pools, this hotel might still be worth considering.
- Clean with friendly staff.
Cons -
- However, I do have to mention a couple of downsides. The location of my single room was less than ideal, being tucked away in an area that didn’t offer much in terms of a view or convenience. While the staff was welcoming, the food in the restaurant was one of the most disappointing aspects of my stay. Having read about a pizzeria on-site, I was surprised to find that there was only a buffet in the evening, likely due to the large number of tour groups staying at the hotel—many of whom appeared to be traveling by bus. The buffet offerings were incredibly repetitive, and unfortunately, all the dishes tasted the same, lacking variety and flavor. The waitstaff were kind and attentive, but even their excellent service couldn’t make up for the underwhelming food. The same could be said for breakfast —while it was adequate, it felt quite uninspired, leaving much to be desired.
- Stiff beds and pillows. Would suggest taking own pillows in case you are staying for more days.
- the rooms are in poor condition, the hotel is full of moisture, at least the part where we were

Clean with friendly staff.
Stiff beds and pillows. Would suggest taking own pillows in case you are staying for more days.
breakfast and pool were solid
the rooms are in poor condition, the hotel is full of moisture, at least the part where we were
Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice pool area.
Location is pretty but quite remote, and shower was quite small. I am an average sized UK lady, and kept banging my elbows.
Breakfast, room , swimming pool
Nothing to say , but be ready no WiFi inside the room , this is little note but if you in vocation just relax
The location is very accessible and near to a lot of tourist spots/ parks.
The facilities,e.g. bathrooms are poorly maintained. The pillows are too flat.
The location was ok, and nice and quiet, we were staying there as we were working in Gardaland
Restaurant too hot in the evening, no WiFi in the rooms, and the AC being controlled centrally and had to beg for the room temp to be at 20’ as too hot for me to be comfortable, Ideally wanted lower but apparently is the local law.
Good room, I booked a single, was put in a room with a double and a single. Nice balcony, view of the pool. Bathroom was good. Good restaurant/bar. Good food.
No hot water in the shower, aircon not great.
Position, pool, view, rooms
Breakfast could be better quality.
Room was as good as price is. Breakfast was tasty.Location was excellent. Near Lago di Garda and Verona.
I booked the wrong dates but on arrival the staff were very helpful in cancelling my mistake and rebooking us in
The staff was all very kind and helpful. The breakfast was ok. The bed comfort was also ok.
Very cold and not clean room, not adequate for the number of stars of the hotel. The room and the entire structure were really cold. The riom thermostat was activated/working only during certain times. The room floor was not well cleaned, as well as the overall section of the building (it seemed it was closed for long time, and just reopened without refreshing it).
Pool - NiceRoom , Bathroom - need renovationit is good for a one day stop while you are traveling in the road but nothing more than that.
facilities were overused without any innovation for a quite long time.
Staff were doing their very best, view of vineyards and olive trees by the pool were nice. Allowed to stay and use the decent sized pool after you check out. Near Lake Garda.
Everything really. It's pretty scrappy and in poor repair, our room had a broken off balcony tile that was sharp and dangerous, it said all the rooms have views but they definitely don't... was glad it was one night only, booked it for the pool, probably would have been state of the art in 1983, not been given a lot of love since?! One room's air con didn't work. Poky bathroom with no window and poor ventilation, grimy floor, loud useless fan etc. Breakfast had ok variety but not quality - classic big buffet style crap for tourists... Not 3 stars for sure!
Pool is great. Foodis acceptable, basic. It is clean.
Some staff weren’t very nice, but some were very nice. A bit run down rooms
The hotel was very clean and the food in the bar was so good and the pool water was crystal clear
Some bugs
The only reason our rating is not 1 is the location close to Lago di Garda and the fact that some of the staff (not the one at the bar) we met was quite nice.
We saw all the bad reviews but we did not care... and we should have :D This was definitely the worst accommodation we had during our 2-month journey through Italy and Croatia. I am surprised the hotel has not been closed by the Public Health Office yet... The rooms are dirty (we found old shoes under our bed; I refused to use the shower), parts of the pool are collapsing, the staff at the bar is arrogant. Also, we knew the wifi is only available at the reception area but still - hello, we are in the 21st century in Europe! :D
Excellent breakfast ,lovely location
Good pizza ,but 2 pizzas with hair in it.....big no no no
Good location if have car and therefore free parking. Lovely viewBeds cleaned every day and extra towels given by housekeeping staff.
Pool times limited 10-6 nightmare with children. too much temptation and upsetting when they can’t go in. life guard only made himself present with his whistle 30mins prior to getting kicked out of pool area never seemed cleaned from the day before properly. Our daughter is in wheelchair and we were told room was fine for wheelchair. Absolutely not. she had to shower in the pool showers. no way she was getting in the cubicle shower. Room was old and dirty with many broken things in bathroom and balcony door lock. Bar staff were friendly enough. but unless you were a polish female you weren’t getting served by the young lads at the bar. be prepared to be standing for a while waiting to be served. Breakfast was awful how do you get scrambled eggs wrong when you are a chef?we only stayed here for 2 days before moving to our next destination maybe changing to a 2 star then there wouldn’t be as much to fault. was very difficult navigating round the hotel in a wheel chair. 1st morning. lift wasn’t even open for us to go down for breakfast. had to wait in lobby for 30 mins after 3 members of staff were told Only Wi-Fi round lobby and pool bar.
