Pros +
- I had a two day mini-break at Talaso Atlantico and hike walking the Camino. The spa facilities were great, and the restaurant was nice, although I could only go to the more informal bar, as the main restaurant didn’t open until 9pm. That is on my though, no fault of the hotel. The room was lovely with a balcony and sea view, and the beds very comfortable.
- Felt luxurious, wonderful amenities, bed and linens were fabulous, massage in salon was great… The breakfast was perfect .
- Beautiful view although road between hotel and ocean. Good breakfast
Cons -
- I thought the thermal spa pricing was a bit steep.
- Staff would not change our reservation so we had to eat one night. Pool filled with kids.
- The only downside was the length of time it took to be served for dinner and how late official dinner service began.

The therapy pools were perfect after many days of walking the Camino! The room was wonderful!
The only downside was the length of time it took to be served for dinner and how late official dinner service began.
The hotel staff were all very nice and professional; from front desk to restaurant servers. Room was spacious with a great view of the ocean.
I stayed here for a rest day while walking the Camino Portuguese. When I booked the room at the hotel, which is located directly across the street from the ocean, I assumed I could just walk across the street from hotel to access beach, however, this is not possible. The closest accessible beach is not walking distance from the hotel; at least not walking distance for someone taking a rest day on the Camino. Also, crossing the street to get to hotel was probably one of the most treacherous things I did while walking the Camino. High speed traffic coming around blind bends had my heart racing! Also, used hotel laundry service and clothes came back damp.
The spa and view.
The bed was very uncomfortable. Not enough staff in the dinning area to support the number of people.
Hydrotherapy pool fabulous after 5 days on the Camino. Excellent food. Large rooms. Huge bathroom.
excellent location for walking the Camino de Santiago, service, food, wine, breakfast, dinner, customer service, price point.
The room was to hot while we were sleeping and we couldn't adjust the temperature.
Amazing location and view! The food was great and we loved the spa. We truly felt pampered! There was one woman at the front desk who seemed annoyed when we asked about hours for the gift shop, but overall the staff was personable and accommodating.
It would be nice to have a full length mirror in the bedroom.
The thalasso therapy was just the thing for tired pilgrims! Also, used to pilgrims, the bar-café has a good menu for early dining!
Location, Room, Dinner and Breakfast were great.
To access the swimming pool you need to pay 18€ per hour which I find not welcoming. This should be part of the hotel like anywhere else.
Easy to find on a map.
The dinner entrees could have been hotter. The waiter in the kitchen should cover the dinner plates and later remove them at the guests' tables.
The view, love that could open the balcony towards the sea, sounds of the ocean, fresh air Spa was fantastic
Tight parking spacesUnder staffed, had to wait for long time for food, got wrong items in the restaurant
I recommend a visit to a restaurant, a beautiful view and a unique culinary experience - cheesecake !!
Spa, restaurant, everything was fabulous value and great quality.
It is very uphill by bike!
It was easy to locate.
I travel a lot, and rarely have I experienced arrogance, bad service, and lack of manners on this level. It took the hotel less than a minute to turn this stay into a sour experience. The staff don’t look at you, they speak to you in disrespectful tones, and provides no information about the room, facilities, opening hours, Wi-Fi and it’s like. Just slammed the access card on the table. When we got to the restaurant and bar, the staff don’t speak English - which is fine as we managed to point at things - but they had an attitude like if the guests were here to annoy them, and perhaps an inconvenience to them. The man who served at the restaurant area had an aura of bad mood, no eye contact, no smile. When we asked for the bill he just slammed the notes in the table with a bang,, I mean, we were actually laughing of this absurd event. When we checked out the next morning, again no eye contact, no thank you for choosing us, not even a smile. This hotel is not worth the rating it has - and I want to warn others - if possible then consider some nice and welcoming hotels nearby who appreciate customers. A side note: we did experience one lady at the restaurant area who was fantastic. Always smiling. Went from one table to the other, asking if people were needing anything. Many credits to her.
Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, fantastic views, quiet location yet near to Baiona by taxi. It was very hot coming off the Camino and I looked forward to the outdoor pool but unfortunately it was closed, I guess too early in the season. Although there were spa facilities, they were a bit expensive for Camino travellers on a budget. But no matter, we enjoyed a beer overlooking the stunning Galician coast which was very relaxing!
A luxury stay for me whilst on the Camino Portuguese. I had the best leg massage (at an expected additional cost). I was disappointed to learn though that using the pool was also an extra costThe hotel terrace has the best views over the Atlantic
The hotel is located on coastal Camino route 6.5 Kms before Baiona. Great hotel with hydrotherapy spa to ease the trekking aches. Best breakfast buffet I have had on this trip. Our room had a balcony overlooking the ocean, which was lovely.
Large facility with open corridors. Friendly front desk staff. Clean and well maintained.
