    Pros +

    • Access to the spa and sports facilities
    • Staff were extremely helpful. The location was tucked away but not too far from the city centre.
    • The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional.

    Cons -

    • Distance to central Amsterdam, distance from hotel rooms to the spa and sports facility.
    • I was not aware of €200 euro deposit prior to booking. More information needs to be available before people decide to book
    • I found it a bit of a shame that hotel guests have to pay the full price for the wellness + spa. We only went once as a result. As the hotel is quite far away from the centre, we could have simply taken a day trip to the spa at the Wellness + Spa Zuiver hotel and saved ourselves the daily transport costs to get back to the hotel. Overall, this would have been cheaper and probably more convenient. The hotel has a €50 per night deposit policy which I found unfortunate as well.

The room was extremely clean with a big, comfortable bed. The scent in the room was so good, like aromatherapy. There were artisanal teas to settle down in the evening. The shower was huge with really good shampoo, conditioner and body wash. All staff I encountered were exceptionally helpful and kind (thank you!). The breakfast choice is vast and very tasty! I highly recommend. I paid around 40eur for an uber to the airport.

The room and facilities were lovely, especially the spa area, though it was super crowded and busy during the time of our stay (holiday season). The breakfast buffet was good, included sweet and savoury options.

Receptionist very friendly and the room was very comfortable. Clean room too.

It looks like you can use the spa & wellness too, but this is not included in your stay. Also, parking is not included that’s not mentioned while booking. Therefore price-quality could be improved or a better communication.

Zuiver is a great place to relax. The soa is amazing with many options of saunas and the restaurant/bar is very good

It is a petty that the spa is not included into the hotel price anymore.

Facilities were good, central to Amsterdam

It was quite cold, bathroom didn’t heat up and the light was really bad. The entire hotel was dark, especially the bathroom was to dark to shave. The only restaurant was inside the spa, so without doing a spa day we couldn’t use the restaurant.

    Bad

I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel & Wellness Zuiver. There are days when wearing a swimsuit is not allowed, which is never clearly communicated in advance. On top of paying €200 for one night, you still have to pay extra to access the spa which is absolutely ridiculous. The service was poor and overall the stay was not worth the money. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Simple and good rooms, good breakfast

The spa is very small, too many people, the rooms very a bit expensive for the quality

Quiet in the night, perfect spot for a meeting nearby, and close to Amsterdam Zuid station. Room was basic, but feels modern and super clean which is great. The shower was amazing. Best one I’ve seen so far!

I tried to check out online on the morning of leave, but that wasn’t working. I had to go to the reception to check out and there were some guests before me that took 10-20 minutes to make arrangements, so I had a bit of a delay for my next appointment.

I enjoyed mostly the spa at this hotel. The breakfast was incredible. The room was okay.

in order to use the gym, you have to walk all the way around. it would be much simpler if you could use the entrance to go to the spa since there is a access point right there.

great selection of breakfast options both hot & cold. breakfast included fruit, continental, hot pancakes! staff very friendly and great for giving local recommendations. facilities great is you're a tennis player -so many courts! Easy access and hire of bikes from reception

the spa was naked only on the weekend, coming from the UK this was a very unusual option which we did not wish to explore, shame as we attended for the marathon and this would have been great for recovery

    10KevinPosted on: 11-28-2025

The spa is amazing. Great breakfast. Great location close to nature.

It's a bit over priced. The coffee and tea in the room never gets replaced. This has always been a problem when we've visited.

    5ChloePosted on: 11-18-2025

The superior suite was tidy and clean and the breakfast included was good.

Not having access to the restaurant when we are not using the spa., we were not wanting to sit and have dinner in our gowns all the time. Cost of spa not included in hotel room costs, we had filtered specifically selecting hotels with pools which Zuiver then came up in search but we had to pay to use the spa and pools but we could only do so on one day as that fell on a day we could use swimwear. We are not nudist spa or swimmers and that not clear either. Please refer to other reviews on bookings.com We had not choice but to go to Zuiver as a refund was not optional. The details were not clear re the spa and hotel and facilities thereof.

Lovely spa and I would highly recommend doing the free sauna experience that are on during the day. We arrived late and were looking for some dinner but the only access to the resterant was if you had a spa pass (30euro each). All other redterants (there aren't alot) near by were closed so we had to get a takeaway delivered. Room was nice but we were in a separate building so you have to walk through a car park to get to the room. Also there were spots of dirt on towels/bed linen.

    As above

Excellent spa complex! Very high-quality and varied breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff!

Decent breakfast and plenty of parking space.

Highlighting Swimming pool & Wellness on first page when searching hotel with all details around it such as opening hours, but not mentioning it requires additional payment. For that you have to scroll a few pages down and read the small letters.

The hotel is in a quiet location outside Amsterdam centre, a short taxi ride into town. It has the most incredible luxuriating spa facilities, 8 saunas, restaurant within the spa, many rituals and experiences available e.g. Razzoul, salt scrubs, a Mexican sweat box experience, all provided by Sauna meisters. Also a pool, steam rooms, flotation etc. beds and rooms were very comfortable too. Breakfast was included in my package and was excellent, both continental and cooked options. Staff in the spa and restaurant are excellent. A very healing experience.

The restaurant is only accessible by going into the spa, so on the days when we weren’t in the spa, we had to go out a little distance to find a restaurant OR get Uber eats.

    Spa is amazing.

Spa is naked most of the time. Bar and meal is in the spa. We arrived late afternoon, wanted a quiet drink and an easy meal. But only facilities were inside the spa so we had to strip off and sit in dressing gowns. Nothing else reasonable nearby. Also a £300 deposit was demanded on arrival - don’t know why as the rooms were more like a basic budget room. And they sneakily charged us for flip flops on the first night. More like a spa they had rooms than a classier hotel.
