Toyoko Inn Tokyo Hachioji-Eki Kita-Guchi

Close to the train station & shops.Friendly staff.Room & unit bath is pretty decent size for a business hotel and they are clean.Free breakfast was included. They served several different kinds of rice balls, some bread, soups & drinks and it was delicious!

The only reason why I deducted some points were for my room. I couldn’t reserve a nonsmoking room and my room had a terrible odor from cigarettes. I really wish that they become a non-smoking hotel !

it is very near to the train station so that I can reach to my son's university easily.

parking area is limited. I have to go to the other side before I finally get the parking spot behind the hotel itself.

Proximity to Hachioji stationKind staffClean roomsSimple breakfast

great breakfast, great amenities, great staff

room too small

Well located for a trip to Mt Takao. We've been to other Toyoko Inn hotels and this one definitely felt more run down. The staff were super helpful but breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Staffs were very polite and helpful. Front office staff were very friendly! Morning breakfast was delicious!

Nothing, we loved everything !

Very close to rail station

Noisy train track nearby.Onigiri breakfast labels would be nice with english descriptions

Three blocks from train station, 5 min and you are on the train platformMostly a value business hotelVery clean and decent size room (for Japan anyway in this price category, doesn't feel crowded when you get used to it, not like some hotels that jam everything together)Consistent room arrangement and decor as other Toyoku Inn propertiesStaff speak English well enough and are super niceIndividual room heat-pump with remote (need to learn Japanese button labels)You can pay for late check-out, 1000 yen per hourRefrigerator

Every evening the plumbing system would "hiccup" one time very loudly for a minute, loud enough to wake me up if I had fallen asleep early due to jet lagLate evenings going out for a snack you find yourself right in the middle of a tiny red-light district, so you have to tolerate various people standing around on the street. Completely safe, just have to ignore.

Cleanliness and services and breakfast and the location

Kudos to the female front office staff who checked me in (on 20 Aug around 8pm), your hospitality and friendliness was a great end to my day. Thank you! I also liked that there's a familymart right across the property, so I don't have to sweat on my way getting my night snacks. The room was more spacious than expected, especially the bathroom.

Excellent service, friendly staff, freshly prepared Japanese-style breakfast, and clean room make this hotel a very attractive option for business travel.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and had in it everything I needed. The bed mattress is firmer than in most Western hotels and that is exactly what I needed to get a good sleep.

great location clean and clear

i needed jam for breakfast.

Helpful staff, appropriate room size and good location (though the nightlife in the vicinity might make solo female travellers uncomfortable)

Very basic breakfast, though acceptable due to the overall pricing of the stay

Near station

Single elevator. No stairs.

Great location and staff were wonderful.

Wifi is so slow and despite being clean, the rooms smelt of cigarette.

Really close to Hachioji station. Department stores, Don Quijote, convenience stores and many other shops are near by. Decent breakfast every morning.

It was little sketchy at night around the hotel due to night clubs, etc.

Great location, just two blocks from main train station, but still very quiet (amongst a few red-light establishments but in Japan that's no problem and was never hassled on the street). Very clean, everything working. Nice staff, spoke little or no English so helpful if you know a little Japanese. Room decent size for Japan and price, has everything you need, small desk, internet was fine.

Very clean, comfortable pillows, could choose which amenities you needed.

The mattress didn't feel very high quality, but I still slept well.

Close to the JR station. Nice staff.
