Pros +
- it's cheap and close to some universities
- The staff was really friendly and tried their best to help even if they could not speak English very well. The location is great as there are many stores around the area to get meals. It is also walkign distance to nearby parks. I would say it was great value for money, especially if it is a short term stay.
- The staff ard friendly especially the younger women who were always smiling. The older guys are very serious. The location beside the railway station is fantastic with excellent connections around Tokyo.
Cons -
- This is a very old hotel, the rooms need serious maintenance especially the walls.
- It would have been better if the air-conditioner could blow cold air even during the cold season. Also, it would be better if there wa ssomething that we could use to keep the windows open to allow the cold air to blow in.
- We have stayed at Marroad several times in the last 5+ years but the hotel rooms are overdue a big birthday as it is looking very tired.
