Public bath with a lot of free goodies; Super close to train station and bus station, a supermarket, a post office; The room is clean.

I would say the price may be a little bit high but it definitely worths.

It was a really tiny and compact room, did not even had space for 2 people. Like literally small.

Affordable hotel and within 15 mins walk to the train station or the Matsumoto castle. Very helpful and nice staffs, easy check in and check out processes. The room is clean and comfortable, the toilet is well equip with amenities. Come with an excellent Onsen facility at the top floor with yakult and ice cream provided.

Great place to stay. Very comfortable. Onsen was amazing and very clean. Loved the sauna and outdoor onsen too.

Convenient and easy-to-find hotel between Matsumoto station and castle. Bath facilities were fantastic, the reason I chose this hotel. Family mart only 2 minute walk away, super convenient. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my friends.

Breakfast time was quite congested, sometimes there was a wait. I wish they had additional space or perhaps in busy times have guests reserve a time in advance.

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance from the main train station. The rooms are clean. There are nice extras, like late night soba (though I didn't get to try it).

The location was really close to the station and other attractions. Staff were friendly and complimentary ice cream, coffee, apple juice and noodles is nice add- on.

The rooms could use a bit of an update for sure although they were clean and had everything we needed . The house clothes they supply need a definite upgrade ; a simple house coat would suffice. Was a bit pricey compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in Japan fo what you are getting

The top floor Onsen was a really cool perk! The buffet breakfast was an amazing mix of Japanese and western breakfast options! The location was super convenient to both the train/bus station and also to the nearby attractions.

We loved it! Very nice facilities, including 3 spa baths, washing machine and complimentary snacks. Very kind staff. Well located.

Great experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, and the services provided by the hotel (baths, midnight snack, laundry, etc) were very wonderful. Would recommend.

We enjoyed the location and the breakfast food in the hotel. We enjoyed the City Art Museum's ground with art work of Yayoi Kusama! the city park near the performance center, the castle. We also enjoyed hotel's onset on the top of the floor especially the outdoor one.

We wish we had more time in this town, we only spent one night here. We also did not have enough information about opening hours of the city museum. We should visited the City Museum on the arrival day, then visit Castle next day, since it turned out the City Museum takes one day off per month and it happened to be the day we were planning on visiting it. There are actually a lot of art museums near Matsumoto too. But when we called the closest one, we were told that it was closed due to remodel.

We did not have breakfast at the Dormy Inn but the menu looked really good. We did enjoy the complementary ramen in the evening. The kids also enjoyed yogurt drinks after the hot spring. All of us have enjoyed the hot spring! Although it is small but it is wonderful to have an outdoor one too! The only thing we found somewhat annoying was the constant background music in the hot spring room. We understand it is supposed to be soothing but we would have preferred silence. We highly recommend the Inn for its location, cleanliness, efficient and helpful staff, hot spring, welcoming treats and good price! They even lend us umbrellas when it rained! We also appreciate the fact that they responded to our question by email and accommodated our request. They took care of our luggage before check-in and after check-out time. What wonderful service! Thank you very much! We highly recommend Dormy Inn Matsumoto.
