Iroha Grand Hotel Matsumoto Eki-Mae

This is a very nice hotel, especially for the cost. Large room, comfortable beds. Free Ramen or ice cream at night.

Amazing room and value for money - well located ; short walk to the castle. The staff were friendly and they provided evening supper of Ramen which was excellent .

The beds are very comfortable, and each guest gets two pillows. Extra blanket is available on request. Great location. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast bar.

Possibly the largest hotel room that we stayed in Japan! It was really comfortable and we loved the late night snacks provided by the hotel. Not too far away from Matsumoto Station and walkable to all the tourists attractions around the city. Coffee available at the ground floor. Staffs were really friendly.

They give you free ramen or ice cream at night.Good value for money.You are able to leave your luggage before checking in.The hotel room location are not spread too far from elevator, easy access to your room even if your room is the last number within the same floor.

Location was a bit far from the station :(There is no nearby mart, the closest family mart at least 5 to 7 minutes away.Receptionist english are very limited.

Clean room, proximity to train station, about 4 minutes walk. Nice breakfast, staff is helpfull.

Room is very small, laundromat is not functioning well, no smell of any detergent and drying is not really drying, wasted lots of coins for not dried laundry.

The hotel is in a good location near Matsumoto JR Station. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The room is nice and clean.

The hotel is centrally located and very clean. We made a last minute reservation and the hotel was very accommodating. The bed was a bit firm for my preference but the room size is very comfortable.

Our room window faced a wall. Since we were only there for a total of 13 hours this did not bother me but it may be something to consider for your stay.

Breakfast was a good blend of asian and western that would satisfy most everybody. The evening sweet snack was a welcome treat. The short walk from the JR station to the hotel is also on the way to the castle, only a modest additional walk.

In the heart of downtown, walking distance to the train and bus station and all sights in Matsumoto. Rooms were comfortable and clean and amenities were made available in the lobby. Breakfast was outstanding with both Japanese and Western options. Free soup/ice cream in the evening was a fun addition. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great bathroom/shower. Storage space under the bed for larger suitcases. Comfortable bed and adjustable AC. Friendly, courteous staff. Check in at 2:00pm and check out at 11am was very nice.

The coin laundry was too crowded (there are only three washing machines for such a large hotel).The flooring of the room was dirty (loose hair).

Rooms are not being cleaned during the stay as policy. Smoke smell leaked from smoking room to the lobby

Three days without cleaning the room is something hard to accept. I rented two rooms, but one of them had a very bad smell.
