Sundance Resort Karuizawa

The room was big and spacious. They even got us a 3rd bed with no extra charge for my son. No onsen but the bathroom was big. The staff were very very nice. KUDOS to the manager and the 2 young ladies for being very nice, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was also good. They changed everyday and kept the breads which we really liked. The banana juice and strawberry granola super oishi. Also had parking. Very good value for money and I would definitely stay there again. Arigato for making our stay very comfortable and nice.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The room was large enough for family with children and also fully equipped with dinnerware. The breakfast was very well prepared. Overall it was a very great for us.

-the curtain was way too thin, waking us up at 5am-the carpet was dated and my son got an allergic reaction from it-the aircon was only in the living room and it was hot in the bedroom

Room’s large. They even prepared an extra bed for my kid. Everything are clean and the bed’s comfortable. Had a very good rest at the hotel.

Nothing really apart from the hotel’s getting worn down but that’s ok with us.

Location is very far from Karuizawa station, cannot walk distance. Hard to find taxi and bus so you have to rent your own car.

It seems like only one lady working in this hotel, she is the receptionist & she is the waitress

It was intimate and comfortable. Everything is clean and our room was quite large with a separate living room. We were pleasantly surprised.

the room is very large and well equipped with microwave, plates etc...Convenient parking in front of the hotel.Very friendly staff at front door.

The curtains do not prevent much the light entering the room, it become quite bright after sunrise.Hotel is not located directly in downtown, own car is necessary to access, and limited choices for restaurants in the surroundings.

Paid ¥7700 a night for a superior twin. Great value. Separate living room and bedroom. Balcony with small table and 2 chairs. Big bathroom with a large window. Sign into your Netflix account and you can watch Netflix on the big TV screen.

Good location if you come by the car. Spacious room with a resort feel. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Free bicycle use is a plus.

The hotel is a bit dated but clean. Disappointed by the dinner and breakfast which is very ordinary, therefore we feel it’s over priced.
