Twin-Line Hotel Karuizawa Japan

I was coming back to the hotel terribly sore every night from skiing. Luckily, they had a huge assortment of bath salts to help me relax and recover. The hotel has a lovely vibe and the bed was great. I would stay here again. I loved my experience.

Nothing. Staff was so helpful and friendly too. I love this town.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they did a good job about explaining everything and helping with an easy check-in.There was a nice welcome drink and snack time in the evening.There was also a great free item loaning service, the Yogibo pillow was really comfortable!

The breakfast was just okay, a bit too salty…It’s a little far from the station as well as Kyu Kariuzawa

The location was perfect and we loved the bike rentals. The happy hour was also a nice addition.

The breakfast food were not so yummy. The flavor was not very strong and the temperature was lukewarm.

No onsen and you’ll need a taxi or shuttle to get to the ski resort so it’s not the best for winter.

Location is accessible which is 10min walk from the station. The amenities are superb - free skincare, variety of bath salts, comfortable pajama, haori. My favorite part is the snack bar at night! Free chips, popcorn, drinks, and ice cream. The breakfast is superb as well! I will not stop raving about this hotel. Highly recommended!

The lighting in the room could be better but i understand it’s setting the mood.

Great location. Good breakfast. Evening happy hour with drinks and free ice cream was a treat. Free bike rental was especially convenient for someone who has come to Karuizawa for many years- and it’s the best way to get around the town.

The hotel room was clean, comfortable and a decent size. It unfortunately rained during our one day visit and we very much appreciated the use of umbrellas as well as the storage of our bags until the room was ready. The hotel is in walking distance to the main old shopping area with many restaurants and shops. We could have walked with our bags from the station but opted for a taxi due to the torrential rain. The hotel provided a nice happy hour with sweet and savory snacks, alcohol and non alcoholic drinks as well as ice cream. The morning we left the sun came out and we enjoyed a wonderful walk to and around the Kumoba Pond. This was the first hotel we stayed at that had a kiosk for checking in and out, but the friendly staff was nearby to assist if needed.

Great food, lovely rooms and good service. The hotel also has a good central location, close to multiple transport options and shopping areas.

We had both the Japanese and American breakfasts. They were beautiful, and quite true to culture. The staff were incredibly gracious.

The continental breakfast could have been more developed. More choices with cheeses and breads. Maybe that's my western lens!

This was an incredible hotel. Both in the beautiful space and the amenities! The breakfast was delicious and what we couldn't believe was the "snack free-for-all". at 9:15 every night the offer UNLIMITED alcohol and snacks to guests. It was such an amazing feature and something you would never see in the US. The staff was also incredibly helpful. A baggage delivery company lost my luggage and they spent so much time on the phone tracking it down - which they did! We really loved it.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were comfy! My favorite part was the free tea all day and the 9:15-10:30 free-flow snacks and drinks by the fireplace in the restaurant area. Also, they have many different things you can rent for free while staying there. There are many options, from games to massagers to beauty products and more. Overall, I really enjoyed by stay with my family here.

As vegetarians, it was difficult for us to coordinate breakfast as the options were very limited, but they did their best to do whatever they could for us.

Location is good. Short walk to station and to old street. Spanish dinner is super good . Breakfast was also good.

Most of staff were friendly, try to communicate with us with English. Only one staff I presume he has Indian background, insisted to speak Japanese to us. That makes me a bit uncomfortable.

Central location in Karuizawa. Many complimentary items are available for lending such as bicycles, games and personal care items. The breakfast was very good with Japanese and European options.

A beautiful, modern hotel with such friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was lovely, great food. The central location meant we could walk everywhere. We liked the bath salt bar, a nice touch. Close to some nice cafes and restaurants.

Nice service, designed facilities. Free bicycle for residents. The best hotel in 輕井澤.Must try the dinner in house, super delicious!

Hotel has a cozy ambiance, food and service is also good. We specially like their bath salt bar and the free use of bicycles . It was a wonderful experience for my daughter to learn how to bike in the nearby park.
