Hotel Altaia

Everything. Beach front, friendly service, they have their own restaurant. Room was amazingly clean.5 min to the upper old town. Bed was extremely comfy.

The only thing was that the first night the actual stopped working around 1am, and it took 2h to get back. But after it was fine

Loved it down. Golden location - 30seconds walk to the beach and 2/3 mins walk to bus and train station. More memorable was the whole staff set who were out of this world kind and helpful❣️

Great sea front location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very nice room for a good price with sea views. It’s position for the shops and old town is also a plus. I would happily use it again.

It is a little dated, but that also adds some quaintness to it.

I have stayed at this hotel before and rebooked to return in February. However, due to an illness and a hospital admission, I was unable to stay as planned. I informed the hotel, and they immediately said it was no problem. They were happy to transfer my payment to a different date. Both the hotel and I made several attempts to engage Booking.com in this process, but we were unsuccessful.I ended up rebooking and paying again, which was not the hotel's fault but rather a fault with Booking.com and their lack of response and ability to resolve.When I arrived at the hotel, the owner was aware of my situation and discussed it with me. He graciously offered me a room upgrade, acknowledging that I had no choice but to pay a second time.The hotel itself is lovely, and the location is fabulous—right on the beach and promenade.Everything was excellent during my stay. The only small issue I encountered was that the lifts were not working for the three days I was there. Due to my illness, using the stairs was difficult, but the owners kindly offered to help me.

Location fab right on seafront and a short walk into town. Lots of bars/restaurants nearby. The room was clean, a bit dated and beds huge but a bit hard. No coffee/tea making facilities but overall great hotel.

The bed was a small base and on top of it there as a bigger mattress so if you were not that careful you can fall if you're too close to the edge.The breakfast was not that good to be honest... the most remarkable thing are the coffees; they are served and prepared in the moment

No tea or coffee in the room. Room felt like an old hospital room. No character or charm. The bathroom was dirty and old. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete.

Facilities are a bit old but it’s somehow well maintained for a low cost hotel. Front desk stuff was super friendly

The staff was very friendly! I am learning Spanish and I could practice with them ? everything I needed was there, everyone was friendly and smiling. I enjoyed the stay very much. Eating breakfast at the terrace was incredible. I completely recommend you to stay there. I felt like home.

Difficult stay as my father had just passed and I needed a hotel in Altea. But the staff were lovel

We liked the terrace and the view of the ocean.

Couldn't get coffee until 8.30..The bathtub was a bit slippery..No soap in dispensers.

Ideal location, sea views if you upgrade, secure parking for €10 which well is worthwhile considering due hard parking in Altea. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the television picks up all international stations including the main English stations. The hotel has excellent restaurant and terrace overlooking the sea, it’s close to all restaurants and with a ten minute walk to the old town. All the staff are helpful and friendly, would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and plan to go back in November for my wife’s birthday.

The staff are lovely. Easy to deal with, always helpful.The view is lovely [side balcony room]. It felt calm and homey.
