Cons -
- Everything was excellent!
- WiFi didn't work for last three days - hopefully easy to sort
- The bath in the middle of the room was a bit strange, and the floor slippery when wet.It wasn’t easy accessing the parking space down a very narrow ramp.

Our second visit here and again we had a great stay. Rooms are spotless and modern, the pool area peaceful good food quite an extensive menu and a perfect Bloody Mary cocktail! The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We had a 2 hour session in the Hammam Spa which was wonderful. Private booking so only 2 people at any one time.
Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast small buffet choice but very good High quality produce served inside or on the terrace. This was our second stay. A nicer experience if you stay in a room with a terrace .. Housekeeping amazing. Location is spot on .
We loved our room with balcony overlooking the rooftops and the sea beyond. Very comfortable, quiet, and well set up with tea/coffee station, desk, good lighting. Charming.
The bath in the middle of the room was a bit strange, and the floor slippery when wet.It wasn’t easy accessing the parking space down a very narrow ramp.
Comfy, lovely restored building and excellent staff, very friendly
Huge room with a lovely view. The buffet breakfast was super good. Great value for money!
I liked it all.
Earthy Sustainable Ambience! Non bling bling, non overhead shouting, measured, very tasty Elegant Clean. Not need anything more. The lighting is also excellent.
A small gymnasium / sauna/ Jacuzzi. A 24 hour reception. A bike rack and electric scooters/scateboards rack. Also knowledge of the reception staff about the routes to Alicante Airport.
The room had a large terrace overlooking the sea. We used the Wellness Spa twice and had a great time. Having a sauna, hammam and jacuzzi all to ourselves for a couple of hours made it a very special holiday (our 50th anniversary.)
Beautifully renovated Manor House in a great location with attentive staff in particular Cecile
Nowhere to dry swimwear and the minibar was not temperature regulated also lack of a small working fridge
The location of the hotel at the foot of the old town. The bed was super comfy.Nice welcome glass of cava was a nice touch.
The hotel car parking very small and hard to park, costing 30e a night is extremely expensive. The spa costs 85e to access which is the same price to the public, so no guest benefits with the price.Fridge in the room was broken so had no cold drinks. The breakfast was disappointing no hot dishes only cheese ham etc which was left out in a really warm breakfast room with no air-conditioning.
The hotel is beautiful in every way. The pool & dining area is relaxing and beautiful, the room was great, amazing service, good breakfast, best location. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone
What a great Boutique Hotel! Very nice ambiance, terrace, beds, swimmingpool, rooms, all perfect! The best place in town.
Adults only, but the allowed still kids....Parasols should be better secured against heavy wind ( we experience an accident)
A real highlight of our trip. The pool area is so relaxing and in a fantastic location looking towards the hill of Altea! Breakfast was very very good. Enjoyed the patio “el fresco” dining overlooking the pool & city. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Staff was super helpful and maintained a laid back warm vibe. Excellent for a couple ! And walking up & down all through all the little alleys was so enjoyable. I wouldn’t bring kids here
Finding the entrance & Parking is not easy but well worth it if you ask for help from the staff!!!
The location is good and aesthetically quite modern.
We were given a basement room that was under the lobby bathroom, the noise was endless, the pipes from the hotel had issues and being in the basement we heard them consistently through the night. The room is located at street level and the noise from people walking was too difficult to tune out.
Amazing cute boutique hotel.Great swimming pool, breakfast and spa.Staff was super helpful and friendly
Location excellent. Altea very pleasant small town . Room no 9 was very good . The design was quirky and could do with some thought .
The hard working staff were fantastic, but there was not enough of them ! The facilities are good but are insufficient for a capacity hotel . 5 double Sun beds - there are 9 rooms in the main block - 2 per room = 18 people , if we all want to use the pool area - not possible. This in our experience is not unique to the La Serana , but common with Spanish hotels . Good job we love the beach .
Its a warm place. Comfortable and luxurious. At the same time simple and very well managed.
You need to catch very good price. Otherwise the value becomes too high. But if you are lucky with price - it is very good option.
The boutique hotel is very nice, decorated with style and simplicity. Staff was very professional and friendlyGreat breakfast
