Beautiful hotel .lovely bedrooms very comfortable beds . lovely restaurant.not to far from town or beach but you would need a car .Definitely would stay again.

The drive to the entrance is very off putting its off the beaten track down a really bad lane which is dark at night and I'd say a little dangerous to walk you definitely need a car.Breakfast is only ok bacon and eggs cold not a big selection but did supplied scrambled eggs when we requested them.

Large room, lovely view over the pool.Housekeeping and clean towels daily.Pleasant staff

Noisy,in the corridor and bedrooms at night, Lovely breakfast selection, but bacon cold every morning.

Lovely hotel situated around 15 minutes walk from beautiful Altea. Full of character & remnants of its days as an olive press.Clean rooms & comfortable beds, large bathrooms with double shower. Aircon/heating works well, hairdryer, safe & fridge in rooms. The staff were extremely pleasant & helpful.Decent restaurant & beautiful pool area, continental buffet breakfast included in our price of £50 for the night, absolute bargain.

I like to sleep with the bedroom window open but can’t do that as there isn’t anywhere to secure the window when open.

The breakfast was very good, something for everyone. The staff were so kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Also the beds were super comfy.

The only thing missing was tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Lovely location up in old town of Altea beautiful pool area, family run Sits off a country road which is dark on winter nights if walking back from old town

Amazing and super friendly staff, a 10 out of 10, they couldn’t do enough for us! The building is superb, and the breakfast very good. We would definitely go back.

The only small thing to improve would be the lift.

    10KathrynPosted on: 2-21-2025

Breakfast was buffet style. You could hv had fried eggs or bacon. Toast, yogurt, fruit. Hungry you did not hv to be. They catered for me offering gluten free bread.

The breakfast room could hv had some pipped music , like in the main dining room. But no deal breaker.

It is a very beautiful restored old olive mill

Breakfast was very disappointing with very poor choice and needed some background music

    10CarneyPosted on: 12-23-2024

Excellent value for money. Bedroom was huge, with the biggest bed ever and a great nights sleep. We ate in the restaurant and the fabulous fixed price three course dinner was beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel, with friendly staff, excellent facilities and pity we were only staying for one night.

Good breakfast on a beautiful terrace. Got a nice room on the top floor with a balcony. Wonderful hotel, a few minutes walk to town.

    10AngeliquePosted on: 10-7-2024

Everything! I liked everything! Beautiful setting, comfortable room, and love place to dine. 10 mins from old Altea village. I loved it and can recommend it to anyone. The people were also very nice and helpful. The food was divine.

Only thing is the signage of the hotel once you get there, there was no sign at the little road itself to drive down to the hotel carpark but perhaps we were too stupid getting there haha. We passed it completely and had return back.

    10DavidPosted on: 9-19-2024

Staff extremely helpful and pleasant grounds, gardens and views stunning. Spacious room with comfy bed and crisp sheets, fab shower. Although in a great location bit of a track to get to but don’t be put off it’s so worth it.

    8HelenPosted on: 9-7-2024

Breakfast is self-service, taken on the delightful terrace. Good selection: boiled & fried eggs, cheeses, cured meats, avocado, fresh orange juice, pastries, etc. Had lunch on one occasion and it was excellent (squid followed by turbot). Very generous portions. Had a lovely room, with high ceiling and beams and a sunny terrace, on the second floor.

    The piped "music" at breakfast!

We loved our stay at Hotel Tossal, so much so we're planning our wedding here. Love that it's a family run hotel and it's close to Altea yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle so it feels incredibly tranquil! Great breakfast and dinner here also :)

Beautiful hotel...very friendly and accommodating staff. The food and service in the restaurant were exceptional, creating a relaxed dining experience. The pool area was clean and peaceful. Overall, it was a wonderful overnight getaway...very relaxing and definitely recommend.
