Hotel Riva

Good hotel location although parking nearby was a challenge at the time we arrived. Good breakfast. Comfortable room with good space.

The staff were very kind and welcoming, the breakfast was very good, the location was good, close to the beach, as well as luggage storage after check-out and return from the beach, and good shower facilities.

I came to this hotel two years ago and because it was very good, I chose you this year without looking at other hotels. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied at all with the cleanliness of the bath towels and face towels. They were full of stains and very old. Also, because it was cold in the room, I asked for a blanket and they brought me one, and it was very old and worn out.

The staff was very kind and helpful - advised us to use the free parking 50 meters away etc. The hotel lobby, elevator and breakfast room were clean and neat.

Room was very small - even when we selected the 'bigger room' at reservation. The shower was very small as well. The bedclothes were old and much used. For this price one would expect to get first class bed covers etc.

Awesome breakfast! Lovely room and the staff were lovely too. A great spot and so we would happily return.

The breakfast is exceptional with many options, including multiple kinds of delicious cakes and a barista. The staff was helpful and offered to pack us a breakfast bag the day we left since we were leaving before breakfast. It's a block from the beach. There is AC.

The room is small and it didn't quite feel like 4 stars to me. It's a little far from the train station (15 min walking).

Not many amenities. No sitting area

The staffs are great! Especially those in the morning buffet. The breakfast was superb and delicious.

Our room was very hot. Airconditioner is fixed at a certain temperature. 28 degree celsius.

The hotel is located near the sea front, 20 minutes on foot from the train station and the famous “muretto”. It is a safe and nice area, with plenty of shops and restaurants around. In the room there was enough space to keep our trolleys open. Bathroom was slightly on the smaller side. There was also a small terrace with a couple of chairs which was handy to hang clothes and towels after coming back from the beach. Breakfast is very good with lots of variety and fresh fruit. There were no queues and you could choose if to eat indoor or outdoor. AC was powerful enough. Overall clean, quiet and welcoming.

If I had to think about anything at all in the reception area there was a stain on one of the walls (probably one of the pipes had leaked) but this was a very minor nuisance.

Breakfast was the only positive part of our stay.

Bedroom was super basic and not up to standard at all. Staff at reception very young & inexperienced.

Breakfast and breakfast staff were good.

Lady on reception not very friendly and could not answer our questions. The air conditioning in our room was poor snd when we asked her to have someone look at it she ignored us. We also had no towels in our room and asked her to get some sent up while we were out but again she ignored our request. We asked the young man who was on reception later in the day and he did get them for us. The room was basic and hotel interior tired looking and definitely not a 4 star standard. We would not choose this hotel again and would not recommend it to friends and family.

I had issues with AC and bathroom. my apartment was in last floor, very close to the roof, so the AC couldn’t cool down the room. The staff was little effective and helpful to solve the problem. Also, the shower was very short, and was impossible to have a shower standing up. Again, after complaining the staff was very unhelpful to solve the issue

Well situated. Nice room and bed. Excellent breakfast.

Parking was 10 mins walk from the hotel and had to be vacated by 11.00 am the day of departure.

Lovely hotel in a good location, not far from the beach. The room was spotless and quite large. We had a lovely view from our room and a balcony to sit out on. Breakfast was the best we've had so far and after 6 different hotels on our tour this made a big difference. I would definitely stay here again.

A very very small room.The hotel was not a 4 Star hotel. 2 maybe 3 stars.Wouldn’t recommend it.

Breakfast was fantastic great selection both hot and cold . plenty of everything lovely pastry’s .

It was all good staff are very nice.

Disappointing

The air condition at the room dont function well we didnt sleep well because its hot in the room . The bathroom dont have exhaus fan so its also hot and we cant open the bathroom window ?
