Pros +
- We had a lovely, light-filled room with a beautiful view of the sea. Everything was very clean and well-organised, including beach towels and a bag for taking your things to the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
- Where do I begin? I stayed here six months ago at the beginning of May and praised this hotel in my review. I returned for a weekend at the beginning of October and was even more impressed by this charming, traditional, comfortable and civilised small hotel right on the shore in Alassio. The front of house team, led by the all-seeing Laurent and the enthusiastic Francesco, run a smooth tight operation. Breakfast is a most generous and varied buffet set out in the dining room from 08:00. Guests take their coffee and croissants (and everything else!) out to tables in the large conservatory overlooking the beach. The beach area is amply furnished with sun loungers and is kept immaculately by Karol. You see him hard at work every morning from 07:00 raking the sand and setting up. The rooms are spotless, small but well arranged and have en-suite facilities with lashings of very hot water and classic, easy to operate showers. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner - we tried two delicious starters - one with porcini and panisse, the other octopus, trompetti and potatoes - both exceptional. It’s a five minute walk along the lungomare to Alassio centre, with a kilometre of tiny shops, bars and restaurants, coffee shops and patisseries to explore.
- The name Hotel Eden says it all - a small, charming hotel right on the waterfront yet convenient for the wealth of shopping, bars and restaurants in Alassio. Laurent at the front desk is most personable, helping guests with luggage as well as answering their enquiries. The breakfast buffet is has a most generous variety for Italy, the rooms are precisely equipped for a traveller’s needs and it’s a delight to open the shutters first thing and watch the seascape. Another big plus is the pressure of the shower with ample (very) hot water! A great stay and I will return.

All good!
We enjoyed our view to the sea and direct access to the beach, the cute beach with Carlo taking good care of us. We loved the rich breakfast that kept us going long to the day. And the EDEN Fritto was a delicious dinner to recommend. The service personnel was very kind and helpful. A parking a few hundred meters away was great to have. Looking forward to coming back soon again.
All good
We loved our stay! The decor is quintessential romantic Italian. The bedding is so soft and the rooms are quite beautiful. The staff is very professional, helpful and kind.
Great location, attractive terrace restaurant overlooking the sea and very good reception staff and friendly and professional waiters.
Unfortunately we didn’t have a sea view and our town view room looked out over a wall and whilst it was nicely decorated it was extremely small .
Location, comfort of the rooms, breakfast.
The hotel is nicely located close to the center and without traffic at night (road with restricted traffic). Our room had a small balcony facing the sea. Beautiful view.
The rooms are very very small.Be aware that at night the road in front of the hotel is closed (it is nevertheless possible to arrive around 100m away from the hotel). Parking spots are scarce around the hotel.
Luminous and refreshing . Clean soft and welcoming . Perfect breakfast looking out to sea.
Well situated on the beach with a friendly staff and a copious and delicious breakfast.
Everything at the Hotel Eden was perfect. Too bad the weather was so cold and windy in January, but that's nothing that the hotel can control! If you come in the off-season, expect fewer crowds but questionable weather and for many stores to be closed for their annual time off. Perhaps that can be a bonus for some.
Great location with a balcony viewing the beach. Excellent bathroom.
The beds too hard
The location and services where perfect with beach towels, private shower plus toilets.
The rooms are small but still nice.
First of all, staff is really kind, from beach boy to reception to restaurant to housekeeping. They are kind people and they treat you kindly. Location is ideal top notch if you fancy beachfront.
Maybe the breakfast was, for my taste, a bit weak in terms of choice. However definitely OK, nothing to worry about. Not related to Hotel, parking is an issue in Alassio, be careful if you go by car. I got a ticket for parking which increased cost of my vacation )))
Close to the sea. Nice view from the room. Close to the center. Helpful staff for parking the car, is it’s suggestions.Clean and felt safe with respect to COVID.
Mattresses were too hard, could not rest properly, but this is of course very individual.A challenge with breakfast serving!
Location and Rooms are wonderful. Staff is kind, available and always smiling.
Location and extremly friendly Staff. Food in the restaurant is Incredible
No internet. Very very frustrating. This was a work trip do No working Wi-Fi in the room wasca disaster.

Very friendly, well run hotel.
Perfect hotel and amazing beach, perfect stay and spot for family holidays
We live in Imperia ( 40 min away) and enjoy a night or two away. This hotel for us is near perfection. It’s old school which has become a lost art.
