Hotel Savoia

The location was beautiful as was the hotel itself, the common areas, bar and restaurant were very modern. The porter was lovely and managed to squeeze our car into a tiny street spot that was free and available for our full stay. The breakfast was great.

Our first room although modern was really claustrophobic so we asked to change rooms and we got an older style room with a leaky towel warmer for more money BUT the view made up for the room imperfections. We were charged for beach chairs w/o being told.

Liked the location , slightly away from the tourist areas . Times for dinner and lunch a little restrictive , only 1 hour slot for dinner . Staff very helpful and attentive . Spa area overpriced 40 euro for 2 people for one hour . Food at dinner is average .

The decor of the rooms and hotel was much grander than any 3 star hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were excellent and wanted to help in any way possible, again, not like any 3 star hotel I had ever stayed at. Location is great. Walking distance to bars, beach and restaurants. We had a sea view room which was in the morning, afternoon and at night.

Pictures in line make the room appear bigger. The balcony was beautiful overlooking the sea however one of the chair legs was broken. The room was smaller than I thought when I booked. The cleaning staff are very good. Most staff were very polite and accommodating. Perfect location but being the off season some processes didn't run well. Laundry took four days to get back. Guests came to visit and the person at desk said we were not registered. They didn't know how to spell our name when it is an Italian name.

The bed was atrocious. Our backs hurt every morning. The mattress needs to be replaced. Breakfast did not include fresh orange juice and I expect that in Italy.

The walls in my room were all scratched up, the floor was full of black hair and the room was just smelling and stuffy. For 200€ a night in the absolute low season this was the worst value for money I have ever had in a hotel.

We were guests off season but found the sandy beaches and warm water, the boardwalk, pier - a wonderful location right on the sea. The comfortable room had great light, buffet breakfast was delicious and fresh.

Paid parking; only staff can retrieve your car.

A lovely hotel with pleasant staff. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a very good selection of food choices. Super terraces to sit and relax on. This hotel is certainly worth a visit.

Breakfast was good - everyone was kind and helpful.

The waiters started to crean up breakfast while we just had started to order and and they could have advised us that they where about to do that, we would have been a little quicker. That was a little annoying.

Location is superb, close enough to the centre but far enough to feel uncrowded. Private beach is lovely and the Beach Manager is so helpful and friendly. Lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was continental with lots of choices and eggs cooked to order.

The shower was a little tricky to use and flooded but this was quickly cleaned up and the Hotel Manager discounted our stay which I thought was very decent.

Our room was in an annex along the street and it would have been nice to be in the smart hotel rather than a dreary annex..
