Hotel Yeogiuhtte Gangneung Gyeongpo

I liked the tile in the rooms and the space that we had in the room. We got the deluxe and it was great! The AC was cool and we were in control of the temperature, which is another plus here in Korea. The location of this hotel is GREAT and you can’t beat it for the price.

The breakfast was pretty sparse, I think the main protein offered was boiled eggs? I know we’re used to western style breakfasts, and this seemed more focused on savory things. With that said, though, 5,000krw is not bad for what was offered (cereal, a few warm items, toast).

Comfortable, clean, equiped and spacious. My phone died on me, and my alarm did not ring. They were kind enough to call me to check-out and not charge me extra for the room. The receptionist even helped me call a taxi to the city center where I was able to fix my phone.

The beds are more comfortable than I expected. The hotel is cozy, but good services are given such as feee coffee & bottles of water & massage chair. The location is very good near beach & restaurants & shops. I may stay there again.

The wall paper is torn some part and room is old.

The location is really convenient, from here I can walk to almost everywhere: to the beach, to the bus station, convenient store... it is also easy to catch taxi to go around. The room is spacious and well-organized, i've got almost everything I need for a pleasant stay.

the staff hardly to speak English. We were asked the staff to call the 4:taxies for 8 of us to the express bus terminal but he only called one taxi at a time and let we wait at the hotel til we missed our bus schedule. ??

Nice and simple hotel which is extremely close to Gyeongpo Beach. It had all the facilities needed for a short stay. The staff was really nice as well.

People buy and light fireworks on Gyeongpo beach every night, so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper.

You have to pay extra for a vanity kit (toothbrush and comb etc). This should be included as the rooms are not cheap.

The receptionist were very friendly and helpful. The check-in went smooth and fast. What is remarkable is the small convenience store inspired shop near the reception. It is possible to buy many different kinds of Ramen and drinks there, and borrow portable phone chargers. The location of the hotel is amazing, since the beach is only a few steps away. There is also a big lake nearby as well as a bus stop that goes along the coastline and many taxi stops. We enjoyed our stay at Yeogiuhtte very much and will come back again if we travel to Gangneung again.

The location was great, a 5-minute walk to the beach. There was also free parking space, and hot water and basic tea bags for anybody to take on the first floor. There was also a massage chair you use for free. The room was spacious and clean and the water pressure was strong.

Although everything else was spotless clean, both of the bathrobes in the room had another person's hair on them, so I didn't use them. There was a tag that said they'd been washed, but finding a long strand of black hair on BOTH robes made me wonder if they'd even been replaced.

The styler steam closet was very convenient. The room was small but well designed. The water pressure and hot water temperature was great. Large TV including Netflix. The small convenience store in the lobby.

There was a smell there even though it was a non-smoking room. The room temperature was too high and couldn‘t be reduced. The pillows were too hard for me, but my husband liked them.

Room is very clean and modern. Free drinks and coffee from a vending machine.

It was not amazing, but serviceable. it was probably good value for money, we paid close to $50 a night.

Located right by the beach with Gyeongpo-ho directly behind. Some of the friendliest staff, amply space in the room, free vending machine for drinks, and massage chairs one can use for free on site. Great stay!
