Mariano IV Palace Hotel

It's a nice-looking, old-style hotel with a restaurant and a large outdoor area for drinks or relaxing. Very clean.

Be aware the parking garage is for motorcycles only.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was well set up.

Some of the tiles were chipped. The shower had mould.

It's a beautiful old hotel right in the historical district The welcome was warm and we were close to all we wanted to see. Great advice from staff about restaurants. We managed to find a free parking space too.A nice choice for breakfast

The property has been allowed to decay at this extremely poorly managed. The breakfast is extremely poor.

Comfortably old-fashoned place with solid furnishings and very friendly staff. Rooms are nicely furnished. Apart from the coffee, the breakfast was good.

Coffee from a machine at breakfast was terrible. And, like in most other hotels, there's far too much reliance on single-use plastics at breakfast. Hotels need to get real about the climate emergency and plastic pollution. Finding a parking spot may be an issue.

Lovely hotel with character & excellent service.

Breakfast was fine - could have been more variety in savoury elements - e.g. fruit was rather inedible. Noise from adjacent rooms was a minor issue but that was more due to lunative fellow guests than the hotel per se.

We always stay at this hotel , the staff is very kind place very clean and breakfast was awesome !!!

A really nice hotel, with on-site parking in front of the hotel ( 30 cent per hour ), which is always a bonus. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. Ideally located a few minutes from the city center. This is our second stay !

The breakfast was good. The mattresses were normal.

The hotel needs renovation. The flush toilet was extremely noisy. The door closed very noisy also. You can hear your neighbors so clearly, how they speak how they use the shower and the toilet . The pillows are very uncomfortable.

Such nice staff (thank you Chiara for all your kind help) and a really comfortable place to stay. Also wonderful food in the restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel.

the staff should take better care of the guests, feel friendly, the pictures are better than reality, I wouldn't give 4 stars, a bit forgotten by time

The property was very centrally located , it’s quite a grand building , clean with a bar and nice dining area .The reception ladies in the morning spoke english and took time to direct me and look up information.

Old fashioned hotel with great atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We had the luck of having a balcony which I'm sure is enjoyable when temperatures are bearable. Bathroom was large and functional. Very friendly staff.

The absence of manually controlable air conditionning is frustrating - although the room temperature is perfectly ok, it's nice to be able to have a strong flow of cool air... Plastic plates for breakfast are clearly a big faux-pas in terms of standing...

Very charming hotel with a great location and good breakfast. The staff is very friendly and sweet.

The only con is the very old hair dryer.
