Mistral2 Hotel

A well-maintained modern hotel with a great bar and restaurant, and a swimming pool! The food was very good. It's only a short walk from the centre with other bars and restaurants. There's a big supermarket just metres away too.

If you go to Oristano by train it's quite a hike from the station - taxi a must for most.

Loved the restaurant. The food was amazing and reasonable priced. We went one night to Old Town and went to a local fancy restaurant there, which turned out to be a tourist trap, extremely expensive and food was mediocre. Last night we stayed and ate at the hotel, we wish we would have eating there since day 1. In addition, Leonardo, who was the bartender/ somaliere was so informative and recommending excellent wine pairing with our food. He also made me a “ limoncello spritz”, which was amazing and not something common you can get in local bars. The facilities, breakfast and rooms are also worth commenting to say they are exactly what they promote.

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet location but easy access to everything we wanted to see. Excellent breakfast.

It is 5 min walk from centre and 25min from train station- excellent value for money- rented a bicycle for a night and they have separate locked room in garage area for bicycles. Breakfast exceptional too - Only minus - it was very windy on first night and could almost feel the wind- though when i lowered the blind this was felt less

Old furniture that needed maintenance…

The hotel pool, restaurant and leisure areas are nice. The staff is very helpful. I can't say much about the location as we just stayed for one night and went around just by car, however, it has a supermarket and a few restaurants/bars in the vicinity. The breakfast is very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The hotel has an underground garage, which was very useful.

My only complaint is the bathroom. There was a sewer smell due to probably reflux from the piping somewhere. It was clean, but a bit smelly.

We stayed only for one night on our way up north Sardinia. Hotel was comfortable with available parking and a very good breakfast too. There is also a restaurant open for evening meals which was also good. Check in and check out were quick too

Location of hotel was very convenient to explore Oristano, it was easy to park and quiet area to have a rest.When we visited, there were a lot of mosquito to swim or enjoy the pool area.Room was clean and renovated(I think, it looks clean and neat)Breakfast was also very well arranged and nice.SPAR was next to hotel which was also very good to experience all the Italian Gastronomy culture.

There were no preparation for mosquito in the room.No net in the window. So you can not have fresh air easily.

- Surprising Breakfast: The breakfast was quite good, especially considering our low expectations after seeing the room. There was a decent variety of options, which exceeded what we anticipated.

- Basic Room for a 4-Star Hotel: The room was extremely simple and very basic for a hotel that claims to be 4 stars. The overall setup felt cheap, particularly the bed sheets, which didn’t match the quality you’d expect from a higher-rated hotel.- Rude Reception: We arrived about an hour before check-in and asked if it was possible to check in early. The receptionist was quite rude and just said no, without offering any alternative or explanation.- Awkward Parking: The parking was in a narrow basement with limited spaces, making it very difficult to park. Parking on the streets was not an option, as the area was crowded with cars.- Poor Bathroom Facilities: The bathroom water never got fully warm, only slightly, and the bathroom amenities were very poor. The toilet paper was of such low quality that it felt like newspaper.

Great location near old town.

Broken shutter in the room, poorly cleaned floor in the edges of the floor, outdated room equipment, poor water drainage in the shower cabin.
