Hotel Il Duomo PHG

The location was excellent and easy to locate and as a base to explore the city and area. The staff were wonderful and very helpful in sharing information about the area and arranging taxis for me to get outside the city to historical sites as well as to the train station on my departure.

While the WiFi was quite good in the public spaces, in my room it was weak and often undetectable.

I liked everything about it

- the location is very good, very close to the city dome. In the vicinity there are lots of restaurants and shops.- the hotel is very clean, always smells nice and is well looked after;- the common living room is very nice, the furniture is vintage and looks class;- the staff is very friendly, always helpful;- the breakfast is good: limited options but good quality nonetheless;- wifi was great in our room;- aircon was a great addition in the room.

- bathroom had some design flaws but nothing major;- parking across the street can be tricky since it gets very busy but they offer access to some private parking if needed (for free which is great!). For that you need to ask the reception to provide a key that you need to return after getting in and out of the parking lot.

Small mid range hotel, well and tastefully appointed. Perfect location, min walking to anywhere important in this beautiful and undiscovered town. Easy free parking on streets nearby. Quiet and elegant room and classy facilities with great decor and local antiques. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very good breakfast with additional local products. Overall, highly recommended.

Great location in the center of town - as you can guess by the name it’s just opposite the Dome. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Rooms are clean but very basic. Public parking on the street which is a hit and miss.

Great location, excellent facilities, we could even use the swimming pool of a sister hotel. Splendid living room and outside breakfast.

Very beautiful suite (luxury) at Plaza Italia. The design is really amazing, it looks very royal. ? The self-check-in works very easy and the owner is helpful.

Nice people, nice hotel and town

Bed wasnt too comfortable

Our room was a good size, enough to spread out. It was nicely maintained with arched ceilings that added to the feeling of spaciousness. The decorations in the common areas were very nice and fit the whole ambiance of the place. We also enjoyed the breakfast with cheese, ham, salami, yogurt, cappuccino. The only thing we would have added would be eggs. We enjoyed walking around the town and loved that there were several wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The main square was lively with the euro cup and a local talent show. All the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Parking was a challenge but the front desk was able to suggest a private park when we were unable to find a spot one of the days.

Convenient location, comfortable rooms, old world charm, friendly, helpful staff, and good breakfast options.

Mattress was a little too hard. Street facing rooms can be noisy.

it was just a hotel for a night to spend. nothing else to add. breakfast included in price- quite typical for region, not a huge choice the corridors were quite nicely equipped

- spiderwebs on the wall- damages in bathroom- smell from the outside (window was located above the air-conditioners and other technical facilities tools- thin walls!!! in the middle of the night a lot noises (pleasure i assume from the other room(s) were very well hearable- rather purely equipped room- quite tough road to get into hotel and very limited parking space if you travel by your own car/rental-the corridors was in much better technical conditions than room itself- no coffe/tea available in the room..

Perfect location in the center; historic atmosphere to hotel, filled with antiques; the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful; breakfast was excellent.

It is a lovely boutique hotel. Breakfast is very nice with a great selection of sweet and savoury stuff.Rooms are well-equipped overall, but both my friend and I didn't like the small single beds which weren't the most comfortable.

The hotel has a lot of character, including many original features and a beautiful sitting room on the first floor. The room was authentically comfortable and the furniture very solid. Excellent location for restaurants and exploring the attractive town.

The pillow was a bit hard!
