Harris Hotel Pontianak

All hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed 5 days at the hotel. The windows looked so dirty (I guess the have never clean the windows for years) All towels old and rough. Bathroom needs deep clean, mold everywhere in the bathroom.

The bed was very soft, relative to other hotels I’ve stayed in it is very clean, little run down but fine. I like they have filtered water.

The television is one where you need to register and sign in to watch which is really annoying. There was a mosquito in room that got me a few times which was a first.

Location.

Price. Overcharged. I paid the room 718K and booked it few months ago turns out for the same day booking the rate was only about 500K nett.

Being in room 1110 right next to service elevator. So noisy we had too change rooms at 1 am

Good service, room is overall clean, bed is comfy, facilities are all good

The curtain is dirty, black molds on the bathroom tile grout, no sofa inside the room as in the pictures

Buy from booking.com included breakfast but actual is not, one breakfast around RM3x. Top room bit noisy.

The room need renovated, the bedsheet seemed unchanged from the previous guest, for sure never back to this hotel anymore. Staff breakfast asked 90K on my first morning breakfast and the next day the staff asked 80K the both different staff on duty .. why the breakfast price different on each day ..? So Strange …

1) Bed lighting - not working2) Electric water kettle - not functioning3) Drain / Sewer flies (Psychodidae) everywhere in the bathroom as well as the bedroom.4) Shower water tap - not strong enough5) TV remote control was not available in the room. Only have remote control to video channel but unable to use.

Located in prime location in Pontianak city center, easy to stroll around by foot, and also can park for free

The maintenance is low, staffs are less trained, bed is not as expected (double bed ordered but received twin bed rearranged into double bed)

the room was dirty, the bed was not tidy as ussual hotel standard, and i 've ordered for non smoking room and queen size bed but I got smoking room with twin bed

Room size great and not too tight, clean bathroom. valet service for all vehicle ? location was very great !

bathroom were clean but if you have some leftover food stay overnight some insect will come. the curtain should be cleand up , quite lots of stain. i bring toddler, but the playground currently empty ? staff said the toys were moved for occasion at the ballroom ?. breakfast need improvement!

Staff not bothered, I was totally ignored, no hello, no welcome, absolutely nothing. Tried to ask questions, again not botherd. If you have been to an easy jet hotel exactly the same. Corridors and rooms dated. Mould in the bathrooms. Walls in room off white. It needs updating. At breakfast again totally ignored when trying as ask questions. We stayed for 2 nights, only bed made room and bathroom left the same, and the plate of fruit that we didn't eat left in the room.Overall, I would not recommend the Harris Hotel.

smells of smokes, not professional staff. old furniture. no lift. no escalator. check in not on time even that we came 45 mins later

Love all about the haris

- The lobby is nice.- The breakfast has various option and tastes good.- The bathroom is clean.- The staff is polite.- The location is top. It is also surrounded by good food.

- The bedroom is not quite clean cause the curtain and the carpet I think needs to be changed or washed. - The door room I think needs to be changed cause it looks old.

Bright, clean, comfortable place to stay. Located in strategic area.
