The location and staff

Everything was fine, but would have liked the rooftop pool to have more shade structures. It was very bright in the sun on the roof.

The smell in the corridor was awful, damp and the paint was pealing off

Staff, accomodations, location, aesthetic, everything is a 10. The rooftop pool is a 9. It would be a ten if they made better maintenance. Too many people and kids use it. It's normal to find big strains of hair floating to say the least.

Cost and benefits are good, you can go to beaches in south and north, both are really beautiful.

Could place to stay, several restaurants, close to the main market, Pajuçara beach is amazing.

Our stay at the Meridiano Hotel was really great. At the check-in, we were greeted with an amazing strawberry milkshake. The staff is very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, the room service was pretty fast, the rooftop pool has incredible views, and the breakfast was varied and tasty! Plus, the location is absolutely perfect: right in front of the sea and it is pretty quiet. The hotel also has free coffee and water at the entrance, which is really convenient. If we are going to return to Maceio, we are definitely staying here again.

For a 5-star hotel, the only thing we expected more was having a bathrobe and slippers in the room, especially since our room was not the "standard" one. But overall, there was nothing we didn't like.

Location is convenient. Nice view from the rooftop pool. Several good restaurants are at a walking distance. The beach is just across the road, although this is not necessarily the beach you want to be at.

Staff was plain rude and aggressive. Same staff members deliberately made me feel uncomfortable every single day of my stay. I have complained to Booking and they have kindly contacted the hotel but Meridiano refused to answer Booking's emails and phone calls. Consider this fact this before you book.- Twin beds (two single beds) were ridiculously small (narrow) despite the huge size of the room which could easily accommodate four double beds. - Staff never seems to clean the roof top swimming pool, as the water is just disgusting. I have found it particularly hypocrite taking so many Covid precautions at the breakfast room and then eveybody is coughing and spitting and cleaning their noses in the same tiny pool and nobody seems to care. - They have built in a gigantic closet in the room but did not leave any cloth hangers. - Housekeeping starts cleaning activities very early, and they make a LOT of noise, don’t expect to sleep until late.- There is no noise isolation in the building. Literally and constantly you will hear door-banging and furniture-dragging noises. - Breakfast is OK but too many guests and way too much noise. *** Resuming: this hotel is NOT a good choice if you are looking to relax. Actually you may happen leave more nervous and tense than when you arrived.

The rooftop pool was dirty. They charge you for water in your room fridge (for the price I paid it should have been included). The breakfast was boring.

Breakfast has lots of options and the gym was decent

Flies everywhere, WI-FI did not work, the elevators take ages to come to your floor, rooms were not very clean, air conditioner was broken with a horrible sound

We asked to change the room and they were amazing putting us in the really nice and bigger room for 4 people. We were really satisfied with service and with the very happy team. Definitely we are going to be back.

Friendly staff at the Reception

A huge hotel with 3 small elevator. I often had to use stairs to go down. Internet worked bad during the last 2 days of my stay.
