    • Very nice facilities, very spacious room. Pools are very nice, food is delicious. We did the full pension and was well worthy it. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

    Cons -

    • DJ at the pool with loud music
    • DJ at the pool with loud music.
    • DJ at the pool starting at 10 am until 3 pm. Music was too loud without a break. I thought this was unnecessary specially given the majority of people at hotel were families with little kids.

This hotel has everything we wanted and more. We only stayed 3 nights but I would totally spend a full week there. The staff was excellent, always smiling and making sure we had what we need. Special recognition to the Guess Relations Team for their constant communication pre, during and post stay, their nice welcoming in the room with balloons, a delicious cake, a handwritten message and pictures of our family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Kimberly at the front desk was super attentive and knowledgable. Luciano took care of our big and numerous luggage at check out with patience and care and there was a girl checking in for breakfast and serving in the pool area that was amazing too but sadly, I don't remember her name. The facilities at the property are perfect, gym, a couple kids areas, a big pool with Jacuzzi, bar, music. Breakfast and dinner included in the room rate had excellent quality and variety. Clean rooms with great temperature and lights control, big bathroom and shower with a nice water pressure. Tennis and beach volleyball courts, a mini golf area for kids... Overall I left very impressed and happy. I will definitely stay again if I return to Maceio.

The beach that is in front of the hotel was not the best. We heard this from several people before our stay and were able to validate it once there. Big waves and crazy ocean currents ( I am not sure if this changes throughout the year though). There was nobody even outside the water but there was a nice walking path with people moving around that seems a good way to reach a more calm and nice beach area.If the beach quality is not a deal breaker for you, this hotel is perfect and had a lot of other options to spend the days and they offer access to a nice beach club with transportation but I don't recall if it is free or for a reduce cost because we did not have chance to go.

    Location was okay.

The hotel is extremely outdated and needs renovation. We were given a room that had a lot of noise overnight, which meant we could not sleep at all - they changed the room the day after when we told them but from their reaction I could tell they knew that room had this issue. The breakfast has variety but it’s quite low quality compared to other places we’ve seen in Brasil.Overall, it just felt like it was absolutely not worth the price

    Nothing in particular

Facilities are quite old, need absolute renovation and are not a fit for a 5* expectation.Location is not the best.Breakfast quite limited, even charged for Expresso.

The swimming pool area is great! The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent!

The hotel was undergoing major renovations, so there was a lot of noise from drills and construction work. There was very little storage space in the room, and the Wi-Fi was very poor.

The hotel offers an exceptional experience. While the expansive pool is not heated, it remains enjoyable even during the winter months. The rooms are spacious, and the dining options feature a diverse selection, with a notable emphasis on local cuisine. The staff provides attentive and courteous service. Furthermore, the hotel is well-equipped to accommodate families with children of all ages.

    great omelettes at breakfast

Cracked sink in bathroom, poor housekeeping (garbage cans not emptied, fridge not refilled) WiFi terrible, desk staff does not speak English, food mediocre. I expected a lot more from a Ritz hotel.

    7AlinePosted on: 5-4-2025

The breakfast was great with plenty of options like fruits, coffee, tapioca, and an omelette station (the ladies that works at the omelette station is the best). But even though there was a water station for cups, it had a sign saying not to fill bottles, which was a bit frustrating. The gym was spacious with lots of equipment, and everything worked well.

We stayed at Ritz-Lagoa da Anta for a few nights and overall, and while there were positives, it didn’t meet our expectations for a 5-star hotel. For the price we paid, we were surprised that there was no place to refill our water bottles, and the only option was purchasing small bottles at an expensive rate. There are a few shops nearby where you can buy water, but it’s inconvenient for a hotel of this supposed caliber. Laundry service is charged by piece and that makes it way more expensive than getting it done with other companies. Additionally, there’s no hotel parking lot, and you’ll need to use a paid third-party parking option nearby. Our room was cleaned late in the day, which was annoying. Also, the bathroom cleanliness could have been improved, as the shower wasn’t very clean from the start and the toilet area smelled bad. Lastly, we found it difficult to communicate with staff since no one at the hotel spoke English, which made the check-in process with our guests more challenging.Unfortunately, the TV didn’t connect to any apps like Netflix or Prime, despite being connected to Wi-Fi, so we were stuck watching live TV. On the last day, we also heard construction noise, though I’m unsure if this continued after we left. The pool was clean, but the service was hit or miss. Staff wasn’t always attentive, and there was no place to order food directly; we had to wait for someone to approach us.

The location is superb. The facilities are wonderful, the decor pleasing. The pool area is one of the best I’ve ever seen. We splurged a little on this trip and stayed in a superior suite which had beautiful sea views all around. But I’m sure all of the rooms are of exceptionally high quality. All in all this is one of the best Hotel experiences I’ve ever had. And I’ve done a lot of traveling. Oh, and a decent fitness center.

    Nothing not to like.

The location is great, very near the beach. The pool is also very nice and the food at lunch and dinner are great. The day-pass for the beach club was also a nice surprise and we enjoyed our time there.

The bed was very uncomfortable, squeaky, with very flat pillows. We were also put in a room with an adjourning door to the neighbouring bedroom, even though we were not together there as a group. Unfortunately the door is not heavy/soundproof so it felt that the neighbouring guests were talking inside our room, with lots of echo. Also the guests in the neighbouring room were very disrespectful of silent times. The bathroom was very weird and the ventilation fan/window seemed to be connected with the bathroom of the neighbour room because you could hear everything, in full volum and detail. The airconditioning leaked the entire time it was operating, forming pools of water on the floor. The pool, although nice, is not nearly prepared to properly accommodate the guests - there was never available sitting areas by the pool and there was also no supervision of behaviour from children, who were sometimes very disturbing. The hotel is described as a five stars hotel (and charges as one), but unfortunately that is not at all the case.

The room is clean and comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and careful

The swimming pools’s water was very cold and they closed at 20:00. At breakfast, we were told we were not allowed to fill our water bottles with water. The room was not cleaned on the first day because there was no explanation at check-in and the wrong light for no cleaning was on. However, they kindly took care of it right away.

    8ThomasPosted on: 12-1-2024

The customs relations manager was very attentive and provided us with an upgrade room.

The hotel is not of international Ritz standing. The location is away from the nice beaches of the city.

    6DiegoPosted on: 11-4-2024

    nice pool comfy bed

bizarre noise beginning 8:30 am with no warnings. drills and hammers all day looks like a construction site.

    7LauraPosted on: 9-12-2024

The breakfast is great and the swimming pool allows you to relax if you don't want to go elsewhere

The family rooms have no cupboard, you have to keep everything on a bench, the air-conditioning is quite noisy as well as the small fridge. There are no glasses, cups or coffee maker. You have to order anything you need from room service, is usually fast but it would be nice to have at least two grasses and cups available in the room. The bathroom and room are not well isolated and you can listen to what happens in the room and bathroom right next to yous.

They didn’t offer us the room we had paid for The check in process was long and the checkout was also tiring
