Best Western Plus Edward Hotel

Charming old building with a nice restaurant. Comfortable beds, clean and cozy. Since it is an old house it is not ideal for elderly or hindered people (easy to trip on stairs and tresholds etc).

Especially the restaurant has been good experience. Breakfast was good and the room was ok. Unfortunately no nice view from out of our room.

Easily best stay I've had in a while. The staff was extremely friendly. Great communication regarding breakfast and holiday hours. I travelled during Christmas and there was a little note and chocolate Santa Clause in my room waiting for me. The room was also nicely decorated with a very cosy feeling. The location was superb; walking distance to everything.

Everything was great.

Clean, spacious rooms, decent breakfast, good location. Good for a weekend away

Very central, quiet and comfortable hotel. The staff is great and very helpful. The breakfast is good.

Maybe the communal areas are a bit corporate feeling.

Good location, comfortable bed and spacious room with very pleasant, helpful staff. Light open public areas and good breakfast.

Inadequate shower shield, so bathroom floor wet. Problem with one room, but immediately resolved by staff by moving room.

Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. The room was clean and beds good. Located in a quieter part of town. Liked it a lot. Will be back :D

It was very comfortable, clean and in a quiet location

Location and it was quiet.

Breakfast was very badly organised even around 8am in the morning. There is a very small room which is insufficient for the number of guests (about 10 tables). Food was not replaced when it ran out (surely they know the number of guests staying?). We had to hunch up over a coffee table to eat. I would have expected a lot more from Best Western.

Quiet and well presented

Everything closed on Sunday night

Nice location with possibility of parking in the backyard. If the backyard is full then its gets really fun as you can on park in one side of the street depending if the date is equal or square. Friendly service in the reception and in general from the staff. Room was clean and facing the sidestreet, but still quiet.

It was clean and served its purpose

The room was small, the view wasn’t good, the hairdryer attached to the bathroom wall was not well situated and fairly useless. We didn’t find the tea/coffee facility until the last day. We had to wait in reception each day for my son to collect us and were made to feel uncomfortable whilst waiting.

Location ok

It’s an old facility with an ingrown smell of poor ventilation. Very crowded breakfast room.

Breakfast was great, staff very kind. I liked free Tea and coffee.

Nice and quiet hotel. Nice decorations. Great to have free coffee/tea serving 24/7. Good breakfast.

Queen side bed was a bit narrow and the blanket even more narrow for two persons. Good thing though was that it was an electronic bed.

Very nice and helpfull staff, serviceminded

Crowdy at breakfast

Breakfast was good, although we had to take it through to the room opposite reception as the breakfast room was full. Upgraded to Suite, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was good although one bedside light didn't work and no air-con. On the whole an enjoyable stay.

Air con in room.

Good location and nice breakfast. Comfy beds.

No on site parking.

location

lift and sauna both out of operation on stay days

Nice breakfast and friendly staff in the reception

It was hard to get in at night - we arrived late and had to wait 10 minutes outside before someone picked up the phone
