The staff was very good and nice.

The rooms are on top if a night club and are in poor condition and you could easily hear sounds from the other rooms as well.

The breakfast at Stadshotellet was excellent. The rooms were all right.

We were not aware of the night-club underneath our hotel-room. Very noisy and not possible to sleep until 02.30.

Well, it is an old hotel and have a certain not-at-all-fancy-charm, but the general standard is not impressive. One problem is the nightclub at the main hotel. Before you decide where to stay, check out if there is a party going on. I normally don´t have problems with noise and sounds and music, but when the nightclub is on it´s impossible to get some rest until 2:00. Same thing last year.

The standard or the rooms should be better. The bed was probably nice during the sixties. The breakfast is very basic.

Very thankfully, this time, my arrival was not especially late, nor during inclement weather. Otherwise, I would have been even more panicked and inconvenienced.

If you stay central in a town, expect some noise through the night.

The room smelled from decomposing plastic wallpaper. The laminate floor was sticky and the feet felt sticky after walking on it. I placed some towels on the floor for walking. There was at least 1 cm high lumps of dust beneath the bed. One bed had broken boards beneath the mattress. Wall tapestry was damaged and it looked like someone had puked or spillt yellow drink on the wall by the bed. Very cold LED lighting in the entrance of the room, seemed like even more blue than daylight. Broken lamp shades, some fixed but with glue sticking out around the joints. No ventilation and very bad chemical smell in combination with heat forced us to sleep with open window. Nigh club below with a lot of shouting. Someone in the building was also knocking on a door or structure at least until 1 AM. The guests in the room next to ours seemed to be there in order to party. Walking around with alcohol in the corridor.

Everyone of the hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. We got a nice and big room. Its close to the city center- perfekt for a evening walk. The room was cozy and there were all facilities needed.

Sadly the service in the restaurant was not as good as in the hotel. We waited over 50 minutes for our food. When the food finally arrived it was already cold. As cold fries to moules frites are dissapointing I would have liked to inform the service and maybe get new ones. But there was no service- while we were eating no one asked if everything was alright or if we need something more. Indeed we would have ordered more drinks. Unfortunately we had to go up and ask ourself for the bill. When we were offered the bill we were still not asked how the food was. When we told about the cold food we got a "sorry, we will tell the kitchen".
