It is amazing! Glorious! The owner who designed this property has an exquisite eye for beauty - putting together the old and the new in a dazzling way. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and interesting. The owner was kind and cheerful and accommodating. The breakfast we had was the best I have had in France. Crunch croissants, an amazing baked apple, fantastic cheeses and more. Not a place to miss.

A wonderful boutique hotel! Regis is an incredibly welcoming host who helped us a lot. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. The rooms are very comfortable, and the location is absolutely stunning. Everything was perfect — I highly recommend it!

Such a beautiful hotel. Attention is paid to every detail. Our room was luxurious, and also included all the amenities we needed for an enjoyable stay. Régis was fantastic. He gave us an enthusiastic welcome, parked our car for us when we arrived, served us a lovely breakfast and waved us off on our departure. We didn’t want to leave.

Close to everything! Had a nice quaint bar in the hotel that we had a lovely glass of bubbles!

Regis could not have been more attentive prior to our arrival and during our stay. He assisted us with parking in front of the hotel. This boutique hotel is a real gem in Saumur. It is a minute's walk to a square filled with restaurants. Walking distance to Castle Saumur. The breakfast was first rate, and the outdoor patio was a lovely place to relax. Wonderful!

This is a wonderful hotel: comfortable, clean, quiet, luxurious, tastefully decorated, friendly owner ...there is nothing not to like. We were only there for one night, but we wished it was more.

The concierge was very attentive to our needs! Superb breakfasts! Ambiance was great! Location was within walking distance to the Chateau de Samir and wonderful restaurants in town. One of our favorites places on our 3 week trip! Highly recommend!

Everything! I felt as though I had discovered the best boutique hotel in the entire Loire Valley! This place I would recommend to anyone considering staying anywhere remotely near Saumur, even if you don't plan to see much of Saumur. It is so close to so many great little restaurants and boulangeries, not to mention the castle. This hotel felt like staying at the home of a rich relative. From the moment we arrived until the last second of being there, we were amazed at the quality of this hotel, and all at a very reasonable price. The rooms were quiet, clean, comfortable, well stocked, etc. There was NOTHING here I could criticize. I have stayed at many many hotels in France, and this one tops them all. I am not exaggerating.

NOTHING. Repeat, NOTHING. Well, if you insist, the water pressure could have been better. But that is it.

Incredible breakfast, room was beautiful and very individual. Location right in the centre. Easy parking and moments from everything. Fabulous place.

This is a lovely hotel in an old stone building, very tastefully refurbished. It is in the dead center of Saumur, so it is close to everything. The breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. All of the staff are great—and Regis will help you find whatever you may need!

Only the thin towels?

Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Conveniently located close to the city center, with a fantastic steakhouse right next door.

Trouble finding parking but host helped

Great location, beautiful hotel and Regis was very helpful in sorting us out a restaurant on our arrival. Breakfast was amazing and a wonderful shower. It was also useful to be able to park at the hotel. Just disappointed we were only there one night.

The beautiful building , the exquisite decor, the brilliant location at the foot of the castle in the old part of Saumur , the delicious breakfast probably one of the best I had in France and the attention and care of all the staff .
