Good location for touring and visiting

Spa area,even if it got really crowded in some evenings. It is a 4 people jacuzzi and a small pool. Only 6 or 7 beach chairs and 4 normal chairs. If more than 10 or 12 people come, there is no space for them to find spare chairs.

Room was to small for me, my husband and our 5 years old. They should consider 3 people will stay in it. I ve changed it, but we still got a small room. Bathroom was clean, but no improvement. Old.door, the bathtub water stopper could be removed to empty the thub. No window in the bathroom, to get fresh air. A lot of moisture. In the morning, water was dripping down the windows.

The room was comfortable and it was good value.

The man on reception was not at all helpful. He was not interested in giving us advice about booking a restaurant for dinner. We ended up going out and finding a restaurant ourselves. He also ignored us when we came and went.

The staff were so helpful - really such good service. Helped us with our bags etc as we had to change rooms last minute to stay an extra night. Rooms were clean and comfortable - but the huge plus was unlimited use of the Spa!

Hotel and room was lovely and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room location was great, nicely tucked away. Although we don't believe we were giving the room we originally booked as we had thought we were getting two bedrooms but it was in fact a bedroom and then a sofa bed in the living area. Location of hotel was good and easy to find. It also had underground parking. Good value for money too.

The front of the hotel is situated opposite a supermarket car park which seems to attract young people hanging around. This might be a little intimidating to some people. The hotel staff keep a strict eye on it though and reassured us that they never have any problems from them, which we saw for ourselves.

Central location. Easy walk into the town. Good choice for breakfast. Staff very helpful.

Room location was great very accessible to everything and very quiet. Loved being able to get to the spa area in the bathrobes that were on loan to us with a bag to carry our belongings that was very well thought out.

We should have stayed a bit longer our purpose was to attend the Cavalrie Museum and the Tank Museum. We loved the town and the people we met were great.

Location was spot on. Close to the town and restaurants.

Apartment 3 was below average considering the price Antiquated air conditioning that didn’t work Moved into apartment 4 which was of a far higher quality for the last night after complaining

Great location central to walk to many eating venues.

We were in the attic room, with no access to the lift.

Very helpful staff, found us solutions to our accommodation requests during the challenging summer period.

Staff may be more up to date to what is going on in Saumur and the surrounding cities.

The central position. It was comfortable and clean and the staff very helpful also in indicating where to go.

So many stairs ( I had hurt my knee.)There are few dedicated parking spaces. I wish I had booked this in advance. There is ample public parking nearby however.

The relief of leaving.

The hotel advertises having a car park. It doesn't tell you it's under the hotel, not the car park directly outside the hotel - that belongs to a shop, Carrefour The hotel car park was apparently full so we had to use the Carrefour car park, at €16. The property opposite the hotel and the other side of the Carrefour car park appeared to be a party house for delinquent people, drinking, smoking strange smelling substances & partying loudly in the street. Nice. Inside the hotel, the room door wouldn't lock until many attempts later, eventually working out it's idiosyncrasies. The aircon didn't work correctly. Room was stuffy as a consequence. The kettle did not work at all. We didn't try to make a cup of cold tea or coffee, not sure why they bother to supply hot drinks-making supplies but not a working kettle.The following morning, we had breakfast in a soulless room packed full of tables that was absolutely rammed solid with people. Felt like grabbing some food & a coffee in an overcrowded army mess. Relaxing? Lol.

Nice rooms and facilities and central location.

many unannounced extra costs: parking, swimming pool, 12 eur for the pet is above normal and reasonable levels. The hotel could be more clear about this in the prospect. Many such unpleasent surprises colour the otherwise good stay negatvely.

Proximity to unsecure public car park and supermarket.

Clean, fit what we wanted (overnight stay for our journey to our final destination ), nice breakfast for the price…. Really good value for money
