Ibis Styles Saumur Gare Centre Hotel

The staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I interacted with several of the staff and it seemed to me that they often went the extra mile and did so in a friendly manner. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, way more choices than I've seen anywhere else! Train station is right across the street if you're traveling by train.

Consider adding grab bars in the shower. Helpful for those with any balance issues.

Good breakfast, Easy parking, Nice constant shower and very friendly helpful staff and a great view as well.

A bigger lift for claustrophobic customers!!!

Great location 15 mins walk to centre. Staff helpful and friendly. Parking on site

? Perfect hotel , staff were extremely helpful. About 20 mins for us to walk over the two bridges into town . Thanks to Anthony ( advice on wine) also to Marion and. A great breakfast !

Stayed in the hotel a number of times and always welcomed by its friendly staff. Opposite the train station and close to the Loire long-distance cycle routes the hotel has secure covered storage for bicycles. The buffet breakfast is excellent with a wide section of food including a hot choice. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the centre of Saumur and recommended for a stay in Saumur.

Nothing to dislike.

Comfortable room with walk in shower. Very clean. Good breakfasts provided. Parking adjacent to hotel.Friendly helpful staff.

Nice comfortable stay in convenient location. Nice breakfast and friendly staff

Very friendly hotel with good facilities - no issues with taking our dog with us to this hotel

A bit out of the town so quite a walk but due to the hot weather we did not venture very far.

Clean well maintained hotel opposite station. Good breakfast with choice to eat outside. Secure parking

For an Ibis Styles the room and bathroom weren’t spacious

The room was a really good size with ensuite (bath with shower), the bed was very big. Overall a very comfortable and clean hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast had a good selection of continental foods such as cheese, meats, bread, and croissants, cereals. The scrambled egg was delicious! Secure car parking and a secure bicycle store are available at an additional charge per day. Location was perfect for the town at about 10-15 minute walk.

Boiled eggs were very complicated to get right - I would have preferred to have these made to order. You had to do your own boiled eggs with the egg bath which was really complicated and unfortunately, a bit of a waste if not cooked properly. A selection of fruit such as bananas, apples, oranges would have been nice too.

Great size room, good selection at breakfast, nice secure parking booked. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Anthony who always was cheerful and nice to chat to.And Lilly the cat.

Friendly staffClean and convenient parkingGood view.big windowsGood breakfast

Nice room, very clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom good, had hairdryer and shower gel. Good selection at breakfast. Parking available at a small cost. Staff friendly.

Bit noisy in the morning as opposite rail station

Clean and stylish very friendly staff

A busy and comfortable hotel with welcoming staff. Across the street from the mainline train station it is an excellent stopover. Our bicycles were stored in a secure covered enclosure behind the hotel, which is also close to the Velo Francette long distance cycle route between La Rochelle and Caen. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with a wide selection on offer including a hot choice. Stayed at the hotel many times and would have no hesitation in doing so again.

There was noting to dislike.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable

It was close to town and the staff were amazing.

Clean, fresh, large rooms. Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Cannot be faulted. Exceeded our expectations.

Nothing to dislike.

For the price, hard to beat! And very convenient location across the train station. The Italian restaurant next door is good, too.

The 11 am checkout.

Breakfast and bedroom were good with a reasonable walk to the historic. Enter of the town.

Car parking spaces were tight.

Modern, clean hotel opposite the train station and just a 15min walk to the centre of town. The breakfast was excellent, a great selection and freshly squeezed orange juice. Every staff member we encountered were extremely helpful and pleasant

Nothing, everything was good
