Everything did not state shared bathroom false advertisement

More expensive than expected

We had to pay additional 6€ per night for a city tax though in booking it said it will be ~0,50€. That made the place more expensive than others in San Antoni where we paid 1€ and got cozy room with private bathroom. In addition to high city tax the room had a bad smell of cigarettes and no soundproof. If you need to use the kitchen and meet new people this place might be for you.

Slamming doors, noise at 4am, Seems to be a common thing here, people don't respect their neighbours, opening and slamming doors. Talking in the corridor, I popped outside at about 6am as lot of noises, was not pretty people outside, they looked drunk or something else, shouting, not a very safe area.

Easy check in

My room was next to the bathroom and the bathroom door was damaged, so everyone slammed the door shut, I don't think I slept more than one hour. At least fix the door so it can be closed properly without waking everyone up.

I appreciated that it was surrounded by various amenities, including cafés, bars, nightclubs, and a supermarket. Additionally, it was conveniently located near the beach and within easy reach of the bus station.

The room was not very clean, which was disappointing. Considering it was winter, I expected there to be a heater in the room, as it was freezing cold and made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Furthermore, I was frustrated by the frequent power outages that occurred every minute over the two days I stayed there, especially after 7 p.m.

We didn't like our room because it smelled like smoke (even though it's not allowed to smoke inside) so we got an upgrade to a room on the top floor which was way more spacious and comfortable. That was nice!

The arrival. It took a long time for the woman to come to the check-in desk because she was doing other things in the building. Also the room we were initially put in was disappointing, but then we got the upgrade so all good :)

Some staff was very nice. position and room size was nice. Bed also nice.

One girl at the staff was very rude. Night girl was very nice. Cleaning staff nice. The toilet was a nightmare and the shower nonexistent, it was a simple shower head without anything to hang it. No shower walls, each shower was messy and all bathroom got soaked everytime. Television turned on, on its own. We were woken up in the middle of the night at 4am by it.

Bad

It was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in my life. It was impossible to reach the reception and the woman in the reception was very sullen and unhelpful. the only good thing was the location however it was very noisy outside, it can be heard inside the rooms. I don’t recommend anyone. Stay in a different hostel that gives your money’s worth
