Sofitel Grand Sopot Hotel

It is a beautiful grand hotel in a lovely location.Staff were very nice The room was large and had everything you required The bed was large and comfortable.The swimming pool was just a nice size with a beautiful view , towels and changing rooms were of a high standard

The bath was on the small side, and it was difficult to have a shower.Although I was informed there were vegan options for breakfast the options weren't numerous and although the menu stated sourdough bread which is vegan we were informed none of the bread on offer was vegan.

Fantastic place, beautiful seaside view, very good breakfast. You can feel the history of the place.

Swimming poll water could be warmer or at least small pool for kids with warm water.

From arrival to departure the staff could not look arter you better room exellent and the breakfast was one of the best

One day of rain but you cannot have everything

The location is fabulous.

There were bugs in the room and I was not able to get through to the hotel when calling to get a ride back to hotel. Called front desk three times and reached out to concierge. Two days later still no message from concierge. This hotel has definitely gone down hill. I’ve stayed here many times over the years and it’s not the same standard it used to be.

The food wasn’t all that great. The building need some maintenance. We would have liked to go to the beach and the umbrellas weren’t set up. Everything else, amazing

Location was the best in Sopot. Breakfast was the best , excellent choice of Polish food.

This hotel should have lost its 5-star rating years ago! It’s misleading to customers, with poor value for money.The property is neglected, and the decor dates back to communist times.There is no privacy for guests in rooms with a terrace – hotel staff are constantly walking around for various reasons from early morning until late at night.Thoughtlessness and lack of organization at every step.Drilling noise all day long on the patio – in early July, right in the peak season.The location shouldn’t be the only advantage of place like that.

The location is fab. The hotel itself is beautiful.

We were in an attic room. The shower was awful, a handheld one with no pressure & and the water temperature kept changing whilst showering. For this standard hotel I would have expected better facilities in the room - like a coffee maker, rather than a kettle?

Beautiful building, very good location, private beach

Rooms are quite small, rather basic shower, only one socket in the room hidden behind the television. Everything totally overpriced, car park £30 per night

The Grand Sopot is definitely historic and legendary in terms of its heritage and the experience they deliver ! The staff is attentive, friendly and very welcoming. The location is epic as you have access to a private beach and the cabanas are well maintained and clean.

Very nice and helpful staff, a super comfortable bed, stunning room and bathroom with a view. Lovely breakfast with a great variety of choice; even vegans and very picky eaters will not go hungry.
