Hotel Austeria Conference & Spa

Staff was lovely, and the breakfast was good. Overall all went well, good location close to a shopping centre for groceries

Bed was so small

Great hotel, not far from the center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Nothing to complain.

Place, price, spa

Excellent breakfasts, comfy facilities anytime you wish, professonial and kind staff, exceptional restaurant, jaccuzi, sauna and gym in price, extra spa activites avaiable

The personel was very polite and helpfull. The room was nice and clean. With great pleasure we went to the sauna and jacuzzi. There is a lot place for the cars.

The TV could be bigger, ;-)

Bed is not comfortable

Hotel location is ~1km from the centre of Ciechocinek so it requires a walk to the centre, but this is not a concern. Hotel has quite large grounds and the room faced over the car park towards open countryside, with a good view, and quiet over night (but see below). Breakfast was extensive with a good choice of food, and additionally had rolled pancakes with cottage cheese, a welcome addition not always found in Polish hotels.

In August, the hotel books in large parties of school children (~7-12yrs it seemed) and during our stay, this was the first day for them. So 120 excited children were running around the hotel all day and up to 22:00 hrs. This was not expected - Booking.com should have been informed by the hotel that this is "business as normal for them" during August - if we knew beforehand we would not have booked the hotel. So beware for August bookings. The hotel also had a "clinical" feel - as if it was part medical clinic (and also felt like a school with the kids there). There was also an issue with the check-in time. Booking.com advised us 14:00hrs but it is really 15:00hrs, so we had to wait while kids were running around reception. Not a great start! (although the staff were very apologetic and offered us a free coffee).

Gentle Staff and Superb service

SPA times were limited, i arrived after 20 and I had to leave before 10am and I couldn't manage a minute there :) I would appreciate if they could extend the time to 22 or anticipate the opening at 7am/8am but I do understand that probably they dont have such many requests

Good price. Good location for starting point for trip to Torun. Place in hotel for kids.

Air conditioning was not working due to some reworks. Lack of even small swimming pool in hotel.

good location. Professional and friendly stuff. Rooms were very clean. Very convenient restaurant and the bar in the building. Free breakfast with many choices that’s a plus.

There is no air conditioning in the building. They’re working on it it. Also after the heavy rain storm elevator stopped working as well ask how the weather which was very inconvenient

Quick check in, amazing friendly service, clean comfortable rooms. Very fresh delicious breakfast choices. Will definitely come again!!!
