Pros +
- Breakfast, rooms, Restaurant and location
- We did not feel taken care of in this hotel. I will describe it later. The location is perfect. 20 minutes' walk to the city center and the national park is literally behind the fence. We use bikes so we can't complain about anything. The town itself is cozy and interesting. The restaurant has a good cook. The meals are tasty, and waitress work hard and are dedicated. This hotel is classified as 4 stars. This is quite strange since at the reception they should speak at least two languages. This was not the case. There is no bathtub in the bathroom and the magnifying mirror is microscopic in size. It seems that the hotel is trying to fulfill the conditions to proudly present 4 stars, but it does not work. Our room had a view of the roof of the kitchen storage room and the parking lot, which was not perfect. And the room was chosen not the cheapest but from the middle shelf. Now some complaints. When choosing the hotel, we selected the option of parking included in the price. Unfortunately, it turned out that we had to pay for the parking lot and no one warned us about it when we arrived. But that is somehow forgivable. Worse, at the reception we were asked what kind of bikes we had. Since these are electric bikes, the batteries cannot be charged in the room, but only in a special room and for a fee of €1.25 with one charge (!). As for a hotel that cares about its guests and at a price of €133 per room, this does not seem to be a very friendly option.
- Peaceful location. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the town from the hotel. The staff were very nice. The room was very clean. We did not use the sauna so can't comment.
Cons -
- Extra park fee
- The staff was not interesting in showing any friendly attitude. Charging for charging batteries is ridiculous! The help with describing the town and biking routs was near to null. Maybe he langugage problem.
- No one spoke English really, I got by with my tentative German. i had dinner at the hotel restaurant and found the food overpriced for what I had. Lovely selection of wines though.
