Calallonga Hotel Menorca

The room was quite spacious and clean, well kept during our stay, with AC which could be used for cooling or heating. The kitchenette is relatively well-equipped, definitely good enough for the basic needs. The staff was very nice, answering our questions and providing good advice - even in Dutch, to our surprise. The hotel is quite easy to find, with plenty parking spaces during our stay.

A car is a necessity due to the location, and there are practically no restaurants, shops or markets in the area. The tv in the room was not connected to the internet, without the ability to cast anything - with limited options beyond German and Spanish channels otherwise. The food was alright, although the breakfast starts to lack variety after a few days.

Overall the breakfast was very good. A good selection of food and staff was excellent and friendly. Restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Location is great. Terrific views and in a quiet neighborhood. Check in staff was very nice and helpful.

Limited parking especially for the upper levels was the only drawback

What a nice break I had in this place! The views are amazing, and the staff try their best to welcome everyone. The place was clean to an excellent standard, and the receptionists were amazingly helpful (all of them).The breakfast is a cuddle to the soul, everything is so perfect and tastes! I will certainly come back! :) :):)

Little tricky to get to without a car

The apartments are lovely and kept very clean The hotel is blessed with staff that are wonderful - they can’t do enough for you !From reception , bar and restaurant staff to the cleaners The hotel is situated with lovely views

You need to be aware that you need a car to get around We went during October and we used taxis , but you can hire carsI do believe that during the summer months there is a hotel shuttle bus

The view from the hotel across Mahon is great with nice pools and great rooms. This hotel has everything you need and more and the manager Cristina was very friendly and helpful.

A little gem of a place. Staff very helpful and the restaurant had plenty of choice food wise. My burger was cooked to perfection.

No hair dryer or iron in my accommodation.

We had a great stay at Calallonga hotel. Apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast delicious and varied.Location is out of the way but means it is very peaceful. Getting a taxi into Mahon town was easy. Pool area is very nice and we enjoyed the happy hour drinks! Friendly staff, overall great stay.

Disappointed in the paella dinner. Ordered 24h in advance but portion was small and considering how much we enjoyed dinner the first night (octopus & nachos), we were disappointed with this dish.

Nothing however if tue hotel had a gym or fitness equipment then we would rate it even higher but we knew it didn’t when we booked so not an issue for this stay

Beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, enormous beds, very clean. Great views over the port. Breakfast was good but a bit lacking in vegan options - soy yogurts, avocado etc

Nothing except that during our stay the lift wasn’t working so we got some extra exercise!

The bedroom was old, and not like the newly renovated kitchen and living. For a sea view, we had a bin view and felt like we were in a basement. Our room was next to a generator of some sort that stopped us from relaxing and sleeping correctly. It turned itself on every few minutes and felt like a truck was next to our room. And it wasn’t the aircon because it was off…

We loved everything about this place - quiet location with a lovely view, spacious and very very clean rooms, absolutely amazing staff and great food at the restaurant. We are inlove with the island and we plan to go back again - of sure always at Calallonga Hotel.

I recently stayed at the Calallonga Hotel with three of my friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hotel was wonderfully quiet, providing the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful and they ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. cleanliness of the hotel was impressive—everything was sparkling clean, making us feel right at home.The breakfast, although not offering a wide variety, was very good. The quality of the food more than made up for the limited options, and we all enjoyed it each morning. While the water pressure in the shower could be improved, it was a minor issue that didn't detract from our overall experience. Similarly, the WiFi signal wasn't the strongest in the rooms, but this was a small inconvenience in an otherwise perfect stay.Calallonga is definitely a place I will return to, 100%. Thank you to all the staff for making our 40th birthday celebration truly unforgettable. We can't wait to come back!

The location of the hotel is great, especially if you like a quiet hotel. The view from our balcony was beautiful, apartment quite large, very clean, accommodation staff doing a great job, reception staff also quite friendly. We met Serjio at the bar, very friendly young man, we had nice few chats. Great hotel overall.

We believe that a supervisor, or a manager is needed at the restaurant, service seems quite slow most of the time and it's not very busy. Pricing of french fries at €6 is quite high, especially for the size of a portion, pizzas also quite expensive for the size of them. Tasty food though.

Lovely staff, good sized and clean rooms with cooking facilities which was helpful. Two pools and a great buffet breakfast. Overall a really lovely experience.

Limited vegetarian/vegan options or ability to make amendments to the evening menu which to be fair wouldn’t be an issue for many people. Definitely need a car for transport!
