Hotel zur Post Kleve

Extremely helpful staff. They arranged changes when our car broke down on the way to the hotel. Anytime we needed anything, they were eager to help, making our stay feel warm and welcomed. The hotel's location is excellent for visiting Kleve.

We had a very good stay at hotel Zur Post. The staff was very friendly, the room was big and clean. The breakfast that was included in our stay was good. We also had a very good diner at the hotel's restaurant. Becasue of the nice weather we could eat outside on the terras, which was very nice.

For me the only negative was that the beds were at bit too hard

I got a room up on the 3rd floor, while i put my bicycle into the garage the friendly receptionist carried my bags up. That hasn't happened to me in years.I also liked the restaurant, great food for every tastebud.

Room heater was not upto the level of expectation.

Breakfast was good served at table on second day. We were allocated a family room for the two of us and had a separate seating area. Location right in the centre of Kleve. Only downside was the limited hotel parking , but we managed on each day to find a space.

Kleve itself was pretty soul less probably due to the extensive second world war bombing. The castle area however, had been rebuilt and was very impressive, as was the tier garden.

It’s cozy and right in the place! Everything is in walking distance and I was given the private key for my bike to store!

As it was a short time stay and also I didn’t use much what was given but I had no single reason to complain!

Good location in old town, breakfast room (10 Euros extra), polite and obliging host.

Steps up to room but host carried my suitcase up. No WiFi.

Our room was very big and spacious. The location is very good at the center of Kleve. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was simple but good.We have the chance to eat at the restorant of the hotel and the meny was various and the plates tasteful.I will go again and strongly recommend it.

Heating system was good enough

Beddings are extremely very small, light and too old.Hotel could not avail Wifi code to facilitate access to Internet.

A bit outdated furniture

Location in town near shops. Restaurant attached was very good. Free hotel Car park spaces but hard to find. Rooms good size with squashy bed. Bathroom good too.

Breakfast was very disappointing. Photos shows buffet breakfast. We got a plate of cheese and a little meat to share. When we said one of us doesnt eat cheese they didnt bring more meat. We got offered portions of jam.

I was lost in the train to reach Kleve I ride the train from 9am till 11:30pmI called the hotel at 6pm tell them that I am lost and will be late to arrive, they never said that they leave the keys in a code box in front of the hotel, then I kept calling them about 9pm till 11pm no one answered when I reached the hotel after a very hard long day lost in the train and I am a ( diabetes) and need a place to sleep and rest, I found the doors closed , I kept searching for another hotel in the area to spend the night all was full so I spent my night in the streets I went in the morning to ask them for my money they refused to pay back my money although it’s their fault and mistake that they DIDNOT tell about the key box and didn’t reply my calls even my mother sent them an email they replied her the next day after I spent my night in the streets very unprofessional from them

someone smoked in the bathroom before us and we could still smell the cold smoke all over the room which gave us a headache ? It was okay for one night but not longer.
