Turowka Hotel & Spa

This elegant, old but completely updated hotel was wonderful. We especially liked the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Meals were very reasonably priced and delicious. The hotel is a five minute walk from the salt mines and the rail line into town.

Initially hard to find by car -- even with a GPS. Very few nearby restaurants, but the hotel meals were so good, we really didn't care.

We liked that the hotel has plenty of private parking.Our room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, a big variety of food and tasty. The location was great, very close to the Wieliczka Park train station, where you could take the train and in 20min you were in the center of Krakow. Staff was super helpful, nice, and spoke good english. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was tasty and fair price.

The spa area seemed a bit smaller in real life than on photos. The saunas were also quite small. The air-conditioning in the room could've been a bit stronger.

Good location, room was clean, pool and jacuzzi were awesome. The food was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The water pressure was too low and for me the bed was uncomfortable.

Sadly, the restaurant did not meet expectations — we had dinner there once, and it was quite disappointing.

The location is fantastic. You can walk to the salt mine and the train station in under five minutes. There is a grocery store next to the train station as well. The hotel is historic so in some ways a little dated but its very very nice. The breakfast was great. The rooms are very spacious for Poland.

The steam bath was not really hot. I am not sure if it just needed to be turned on or if thats how it was supposed to be. The sauna was 100 celcius. Extremely hot! Its probably helpful to have it that hot with such a small sauna. 15 minutes is about max for most people probably less. You can rotate people through quickly at boiling temperature.

Perfect location next to the Salt Mines. Wonderful service and great spa and swimming pool with great view. Excellent food as well.

Beautiful hotel for a reasonable price, very comfortable beds. I recommend getting a room with a balcony. Good location, everything is within walking distance.

The breakfast had a wide enough selection, but mostly tasteless. Scrambled eggs and pancakes were inedible. Which is surprising because the dishes served later in the same restaurant were tasty. As if there were two completely different restaurants in the morning and evening.The spa is very small and we couldn't even find the salt chamber.

My husband was absolutely thrilled with this first choice of where to stay upon arriving in Poland. The hotel has a charming old European feel. The bar is a lovely touch. Our room was nicely appointed and comfortable and quiet. Quite accessible by 314 bus (bus stops 1 minute from entrance), it is also just a short and easy walk to the salt mines. Staff was lovely and helpful.

Quiet, clean perfect place to rest. Great selection of food for breakfast. We stayed one night only . We had a good sleep, bathroom was nice and big. Stuff very helpful. Great thank you to the reception lady who helped me with suitcases to the room while I was carrying my sleeping baby.

Kind approach of the stuff

Very old and used accomodation. The hotel had the best time long time ago. Not working swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna very old and low temperature.

Quite comfortable hotel, nice staff.

The hotel is close to the railway, has quite old furniture, the spa smelled really bad and was not good quality. There is a lot of calc in the bathrooms.. would need a deep clean. I don’t think this was a good value for money, and will not return unfortunately.

Professional and helpful staff (including restaurant), clean and spacious room, good bed. Private parking front of the hotel. Good breakfast including fresh fruits.

Nice friendly staff, small sauna and salt room, 10 min walking from Zabka, 15 min walking from mining museum

I was expecting some small bottles with cosmetics, like hair shampoo or body lotion, but there are only standart all-in-one bottle for washing. As Im sensitive to smells there was a certain smell in corridors, and rooms, maybe of old building or some chemicals. Anyway, its my own view:)
