  • Was so good and clean i hope we can stay 24 hrs
  • The location in the centre of the city was excellent, and the price was cheap for that location.

Cons -

  • The room was underground. The windows gave out to a basement space where the washing machines were, to deal with the hotel laundry. We do not believe that it is acceptable to offer such a room through Bookings.com. The service and accommodation here were extremely poor. When we arrived after a long journey from London, there was no hot water. We rang the manager, who answered, but only told us about the switch on the wall outside the bathroom. The hot water still failed to work and there was no one to ask and no instructions in our room, so on our first night we had only cold water. The management failed to answer our many phone calls over the next 48hrs. We had no hot water that evening. It was not welcoming. We could not find anyone here to ask for help. After many visits to an unmanned Reception on our first evening and next day, and unanswered phone calls, we eventually managed to find a staff member who turned on the taps below the sink for us. One bedside light did not work. A member of staff said he would come back in 10 minutes to fix the bedside light. We waited in for 90 minutes but he never arrived. We searched upstairs but he had disappeared. The shower drain was blocked, so showering longer than one minute means the bathroom floor floods. The kettle was broken. There were 2 fridges, a sink, a microwave and an oven...but no crockery, cutlery, glasses or cups! The coffee machine upstairs by Reception had a sign announcing it too was broken. On our 3rd day we found 2 staff members, who said they would come to fix the kettle in 5 minutes, but they did not come back. After 40 minutes waiting we took the kettle out to them to be replaced. They said they would help. They didn't help. They did not return but were sitting at a table later when we went out. We washed some clothing, hung it outside our basement room near other people's drying clothing. Next day I looked but it had been taken and was never returned. There were no hangers for clothing.
