I loved everything, specially how it is decorated from the entrance to the room, then the room is perfect, the sheets, the bathroom is fully renovated, the windows, the curtains, I mean, it is perfect. comfortable, then my car was opposite the entrance.

nothing really! I did not meet anyone on staff, like I did not see anyone at all. that is why I made a neutral face... yet I have no complain for that neither!

Good location, right across the border from Konstanz, with all major attractions of the city within 20-30 minutes walking distance. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Bicycles for rent available on site. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable price.

There was nothing I didn't like during my stay. However, my cute and cozy room under the roof had no air conditioning, which might make staying there less pleasant on a hot summer day.

Super nice location, with lovely rooms and a delicious breakfast!

The room was clean, with a nice kitchenetteThe staff was very friendly and helpful. On the second night we were directed to the rooftop terrace and had a lovely night before going to sleep. The breakfast was good, good selection, fresh fruits were only available on day two after a request. Since the weather was nice, we could sit outside which was totally relaxing. We were actually supposed to stay at the villa, but for some reason we were asked to go to the room in the hotel itself, which was much nicer as it further away from the road. So whoever mixed that up - a big thank you!!

The room was rather hot when we came as no one had opened the windows beforehand (of course, as we weren't supposed to be there in the first place).The apartments in the Villa are probably a bit more noisier because the building is right beside the road that crosses the German/Swiss border.

Pros: Sparkling clean rooms, comfortable bed, very friendly staff, good breakfast with quality ingredients. Cons: Parking is not too expensive (10€) but it should be free in that kind of rural location.

Great location to walk to the lake side shore. Christmas markets just 2 km away. Very quiet.. beautiful building and breakfast was above par. Would stay again

Nothing I didn’t like.

All around, a high quality hotel and breakfast. Upon checking out and learning we have no car, the owner, I believe Sabine, offered to take us to the bus station. So kind of her. We certainly will be coming back here when we are in the Constance area.

Great place, with good location. Walking distance to Kostanz(about 25 min) however in hot days it's better to have a car! Nice garden especially for our two small size dogs who enjoyed the first and late walking of the day. Breakfast is also very good!

There is not air conditioning for hottest days! However Windows are equipped with screen against fliers so we could leave them open in the noght.

First time we have stayed in an hotel dedicated to Whisky. Large grounds. Large carpark

there could have been a bit more variety and choice at the breakfast buffet and because it's an old building, you hear everything from the neighbouring rooms

The staff were very polite, and the atmosphere was wonderfully tranquil. The breakfast was both satisfying and delightful. The whiskey options were also wonderful.

In a hotel of this caliber, I would expect high-quality, bathroom amenities (e.g., hair conditioner), to be provided.

You stay in Switzerland but Germany is just 5 meters away!

Reasonably priced, in the vicinity of the lake, just at the periphery of Konstanz. Good size rooms with newly refurbished modern bathrooms. Excellent internet connection. Plenty of parking space.
