The location was literally 50m from the Swiss German border and a very short walk to the Krebs longer train station. The proprietor was also friendly and made an effort to be helpful with our various requests.

No air conditioning. This wasn't a big problem for our stay in late September (though the room could get a bit stuffy). I could see this being a more significant issue during the summer months.

Right by the customs point to GermanySuper basic, very clean, comfortable bed, nice cafe/reception and friendly team

It is a practical choice. Not a holiday destination.

Mattresses were too soft for our liking.

I needed an overnight hotel allowing late check-in, for a reasonable price near the port of Konstanz. This one provides it (even though I think the hotel prices are little overshot everywhere, especially in times of some event nearby). Hotel and the room was super clean and stylish.

The webpage for online checkin allows you to chose dates for ID and birthdate only by clicking on calendar buttons (not by entering it directly) when you do it on phone, and the calendar does not allow to switch years quickly. So you have to select by switching months, and it takes ie. 500 clicks!!! I would give the programmer a fine instead of a salary...

Lovely location. Nice size room and close to shops and restaurants

High floor. Waking distance from cbd. TV and channels choice. Good floor space for suitcases. Coffee machine. Decent noise and light insulation given that there was a loud concert by the lake that night.

No air con!?! Staff need to smile a lot more make client feel welcome. Expensive parking. No bar fridge. TV sound level restricted so low we could not hear it properly. No more Wi-Fi in the morning!!! Way too pricey for what you get.

the noise in the street and the copious flies meant the windows needed shutting which made it hard to cool the room. Also I would prefer cotton sheet, but synthetic seems standard in these parts

Location very central, directly next to the pedestrian border post and 5 minutes walk to central Konstanz. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent fresh and generous breakfast, served in attractive bar/terrace area. Newly renovated, stylishly decorated and well equipped room

Room a little warm by the end of the day with direct sun onto the hotel, and no air conditioning. However windows could be left open overnight without excessive street noise and a fan was provided as standard, so overall it wasn't a big problem. Duvet was too warm for summer but we just removed the inner part from the cover, which was then comfortable.

Excellent and well fitted out rooms.

Expensive for a one night stay but all hotels in the area seemed very expensive.

- My room was on the back side and the night was exceptionally calm.- The location is central, although it is on the Swiss side it is very close to downtown Konstanz. - The one-person room was spacious and comfortable, perfectly well-equiped for my needs.- The staff was friendly and efficient.

- The bed was way too soft.- During the night I got two pairs of two very close bites on my back, at well-covered places where a mosquito would be unlikely to go. I can't really know where they came from, but I certainly made sure to wash all my clothes thoroughly at my return home.
