Hotel Krone

Great price value relationship. Clean, comfortable accommodation.very friendly staff.

Accommodations, location, parking facilities at a walking distance, staff and breakfast.

Location good, breakfast good, staff helpful, able to store own bicycles

The property was central to everything. I loved the morning view on the plaza and on the Black Forest. The room was big, clean and nice.

Nothing! Beware that the door closes after 8pm if you’re trying to check out.

Pleasant

If you dont speak German be very careful about booking this hotel, the owner checked us in and she was rude, abrupt and unhelpful, we couldnt get any information on parking, breakfast or how to get back into the hotel after 8pm. We were honestly shocked by her attitude - the eye rolling and refusing to look at google translate made her very unsuited to the hospitality industry. Please check other reviews before booking if you are not German.

Breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfortable. Great location in town.

Breakfast opened at 8. We needed to leave by then which put us late to our next destination. Not having air conditioning meant windows were open and it was noisy at night.

Great central location. Satisfying breakfast. Free bike parking outside too

The location was great.

Dated decore. Difficult to communicate with staff. Very very small shower

The location was excellent as was the included breakfast!

We had some issues with access to the building which turned out pretty simple to resolve, but it wasn’t explained to us at check-in.

Location.

Cleaning ladies started rather early in the morning and as the walls were not very soundproof, it was a bit disturbing. One could also hear noises from neighboring rooms.

Bad

This is the worse hotel on Freudenstad. We made an online reservation however, when we arrived at hotel they told us we could not made the check in since no one was there to hand us the key. We tried communicating with them through the phone which again was a terrible and harsh communication. We end up without a room at mid night and also no money refund. Please people do not book this hotel since its all a fraud .

Just about perfect.Location Cleanliness Breakfast Staff.

Good location, clean room, comfortable beds, staff was helpful.

Only thing I can really say is that the cushions were a little thin.

Fabulous location - right in the town centre by all the cafés and restaurants. Very friendly staff & really nice airy room. Great breakfast too!

Nothing - the hotel was excellent. Unfortunately the only place to park a motorcycle was on the covered pavement outside, but it was safe enough overnight.

Bad

.Booked it online, I turned up and the hotel was locked with no staff or lights on!!!

Nice view from the room and breakfast room onto the Marktplatz. Breakfast choices were good

Can't remember a worse check-in experience - front desk clerk didn't believe me that the booking was prepaid, then didn't know what to do and got kind a rudeRolls were bland, scrambled eggs rather uncooked

The location was the best in town: in the very center of this lovely city. The bedroom was ample and very comfortable, let alone clean and furnished in a very cozy way. Breakfast was excellent. I must say that the staff was very friendly and efficient. I had to call during the night for a technical question and the man who answered was so kind and, needless to say, immediately solved the situation. I would recommend this hotel and surely come back from Italy in the future.

The breakfast was good. Excelent location

No English TV. No coffee or tea in the room.

Check-in was easy, staff were great and parking for motorcycles was right outside the door.Room was a good size and perfect for us with lots of motorcycle bags etc.Lift is just inside the front door, so not much lugging arround of bags needed.Lovely location, plenty of restaurants.Would stay again, for sure

great location in the heart of the town square and all the restaurants and bars. Warm welcome and easy parking if you are on a motorcycle or bike.

The lift!! You have to choose the floor before getting in or it takes you to ground level with no way of opening the doors until someone else calls it.
