Very beautiful scenery in a park atmosphere. Wish we would have stayed longer! Friendly staff:) excellent restaurant a short walk away!

Lovely hotel in a very quiet setting. Nice big room with a balcony, very clean. Swimming pool is a bonus. Safe private parking. Great breakfast and nice people.

Clean and comfortable. Short drive to Freudenstadt and quiet location. Decent breakfast. Pool (approx 10m) and sauna. Outdoor sitting area and balcony in every room. Parking.

No restaurant (except for breakfast) - only one expensive option within walking distance. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room. Garden furniture a bit unloved - cushions on the loungers would be a good addition!

Very clean. Spacious room. Very comfortable bed! Staff were so friendly and helpful. We forgot toothpaste and they kindly provided this.

Breakfast choices limited and products (bread/cheese..) not fresh, slightly stale. I noticed a green fungus spot on my cheese which was quite disappointing.

Everything was great - clean rooms, balcony with view, swimming pool, breakfasts, dinner, welcoming staff, quiet place (except for the passing trains), hiking trails nearby

Room has no air-conditioner. Lowered ceilings on 2nd floor are a challenge for your head :-)

The best of the 5 different hotels that we stayed at in Germany! It had the largest room with a large couch and skylights, as well as the largest balcony with reclining chairs and a table. It had the largest bathroom. The food was exceptionally good. We ate in a shaded area of the main floor balcony overlooking the scenic back yard. The pool in the basement was a nice size and was very clean. They had clean private rooms for changing close to the pool as well. Off street parking was close to the entrance too.

I left my cell phone on the black counter when I checked in. They promptly returned it after I told them that I had misplaced my phone.

The bed was a bit too soft.

Spacious room. Lots of hiking routes direct from the hotel. Swimming pool indoors and deckchairs just outside for a welcome cooling swim and relaxing time at the end of each of the hot days we were there.

Breakfast was a slight let down, but ok for just a few days and for the price.

there were no darkening curtains in our large room, so the fussy sleepers among us were waking up with the sunlight, a few hours earlier than ideal for a holiday :) not a big deal for people like me who can sleep through anything ;)

Breakfasts were good: ham, cheese, yogurts, fruits, pastry. Staff is very friendly. Place is nice traditional gasthof.
