Nice common areas in a well-preserved old house.
Bathroom in the room doesn't have a door.
Central, quiet, clean and reasonable price. Everything is as described. Parking around corner if needed. Great food - traditional dishes and tapas. Lovely staff.
It was as expected. A good place to stay
Love the room , the food more I could live here walk down est and then sleep . The son runs the hotel , the mom the Cocina and she is amazing - loads of awards on the door
My feet hung off the bed
The staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. Main guy (sorry I don’t remember names only faces) was so good helping me organise a memorable trip to Caminito del Rey at short notice.Wonderful building, nice having a lounge room with tea facility. Great tapas and restaurant attached.
Smaller sized room because of the location of the building in the Old Town which was fine for me because I was out and about exploring Antequera.
We really enjoyed our stay at Arte de Cozina. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. For some people, it might be small, but we are light travelers. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent. We loved our neighborhood, which was convenient to seeing the city by foot. The best part is the restaurant downstairs — your choice of a tapas area or full restaurant—both with excellent food and wonderful service. Yet no noise from the 2. They finish up early.
Everything was great for us!
The Chef at the restaurant is amazing. Not exaggerating when I write it was the best meal ever. Bed, room, service & location are great.
Pillows were too stiff
The hotel is located in a great location for walking the city center. The restaurant at the Arte Cozina was very good. Service was friendly and good. There is no lounge area. That would have been nice to have in the lobby. When your not use to open bathroom to bedroom, takes a little getting use to. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a hotel in the center to get around by foot.
Location and ambiance. Room clean and comfortable . It had a kettle
Nothing really. Nice hotel
Hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful. Good location...central.
On a busyish road so couldn't keep doors open for air becsuse of traffic fumes.
Enjoyed the historical nature. Concierge very helpful. Good breakfast
Exceptional restaurant on site, specialising in keeping local dishes alive.Attention ftom staff, first class.Wine list excellent, tapas restaurant was so busy we couldn't book in....speaks for itself, loved by locals it seems.Antequera itself is a little gem full of historical buildings, great weekend break.
Room was alittle small, facilities were good although a small TV and fridge would have made it perfect.
The room was exactly as described. A very nice house, well renovated. It was clean, the staff were friendly and the location was good. The street can be noisy when the window is open, but we knew that and as soon as it was closed we heard nothing. Many thanks
The staff was wonderful. Always friendly and helpful. The hotel was well located and very welcoming. Having an excellent restaurant in the hotel was an added benefit
Very cleanStaff were amazing and friendly Food was great
This is a well-kept, family-run accommodation in a central area of town. Staff were courteous and friendly. Private and public parking are available nearby. The hotel building itself is old but updated. There are local artifacts on display in common areas. The room was fine; everything worked well, including the air conditioning. The family also operates a restaurant and tapas bar. The tapas bar had interesting wine and vermouth offerings.
My room faced the street so there was some street noise.
Unique. Boutique and amazing restaurant. Could choose between dinner or tapas
AllWasGreat
Location was excellent. Hotel is simple and charming. Staff was helpful. The tapas restaurant was delightful and delicious. Made our stay!
Lack of coffee on-site in the morning.
Historic building
Shouting and loud motor bikes at 2 a.m. Supermarket deliveries at 6 a.m. Limited clothes storage, weak WiFi in room. No waste bin in room, no plug in sink. Staff rarely to be seen, helpful when there.
