Parador De Antequera

This is a clean, modern property with first rate sleeping rooms and bathrooms. I appreciated the easy to access, free parking. The restaurant was very good with amazing no views of the valley.

I would’ve appreciated a bottle of water, a cup tea or coffee in the lobby. If that was available I missed it.

Good location, modern, clean, attractive. This is one of the modern paradores rather than in a heritage building. Very fresh, clean, spacious. Staff were excellent. Dinner options were good, as was breakfast.

Room was clean and fairly ordinary.

Clean, comfortable beds, nice towels, helpful staff, only stayed one nite

Did not have a coffee machine in the room, or a free bottle of water

Breakfast 50% of guests British and tea served with hot milk.Choose an omelette it was in edible it wasn’t cooked it was runny when cut into

The food in the restaurant was amazing, and the room wonderful. Really good value for money.

In the restaurant the ambient was a bit boring, maybe a bit of music, flamenco chill out or similar, could help, also restaurant setting and decoration looks a bit clinical, it need a bit more life into it.

Really enjoyed our stay- good size rooms, even for a standard, very comfortable beds. The car park is big and parking was free. The views from the hotel across the countryside are amazing. It was a short 10 minute walk to the town centre. We really liked Antequera and to be there for the Easter processions was a fantastic experience.

Lovely location, only 5 minute stroll into the town and a short drive to El Torcal and the Dolmens. Very nice staff, good service, lovely comfy facilities. We had a junior suite which was huge with separate sitting area and a goid size patio , nice views. Goid food. Would definitely reccomend if looking for quality.

Free upgrade to a suite, due to arriving at a quiet time of year, it was huge and luxurious

Fabulous room. Great facilities and lovely staff. The hotel was very tranquil and the beds were super comfy. Would love to return.

As always Parador hotels have good rooms and this hotel was also in a convenient location.

The WiFi was free but non existent.It is very unusual for any hotel to have such poor WiFi but a chain with such a reputation it is imperative.It would be better to say the hotel does not have WiFi than to advertise they have free WiFi.I stayed with friends and they all said the same.If WiFi is essential for you, avoid this hotel.

The room was superb. Very clean and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The small bar cafeteria was not manned fully and you had to ring for attention. It was understaffed on several occasions. It was also very expensive and pricing was inconsistent.

Satisfactory but some negative aspects to the room and restaurant/cafe.

The food was disappointing. Dinner started too late in the evening and there was insufficient variety in the cafe/bar. Breakfast was satisfactory, but the menu was a little too 'corporate' and predictable. Disappointing given the promises made in the advertising.The room and bathroom were poorly ventilated, even though we had a superior room. This was surprising for a relatively new building. No fan in the bathroom and streaming condensation on the windows of the room in the morning.

Great peaceful hotel, modern with a lovely ambience , situated away from the town.

No kettle or tea making facilities in the room, would prefer this to a shower cap, shoe horn or shoe cleaning cloth!

A well designed modern hotel offering good quality service

The coffee at breakfast. I lost several capsules in the self service machines.

The room was quite big and very clean. The bed was very comfy and the room was a good temperature. The bathroom and shower were also very good. The hotel and staff were all fine. Would stay again. The town was a short walk away.

Lovely, spacious room. Service at dinner was superb and the food was great.

Parador breakfast eas better before ..it was ok

The room did not smell good..the next morning was the windows full of water on the inside..the cafeteria / bar was small and absolutely not cozy....the restaurant was cold ..good service and good food.we normally take in on Parador hotels..but we will not be back here

All of Antequera is walking distance from here. Good sized comfortable rooms. Onsite free parking. Nice bath and shower.

Lacked character.

The room was spacious, clean and modern. The mattress was good and with right firmness, My room on the first floor had a view of the pool and the valley beyond. The hotel has free parking which is quite useful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the city. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a limited choice for dinner but very local recipes.

The restaurant opens for dinner at 8.30pm for dinner. For people from out of Spain, this is quite late for dinner.

Only a standard room, but spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast choice. Easy access to the places we were going to in Antequera and El Torcal.
