Pros +
- Great location, had to deal with construction but they ensured parking onsite was still available. Easy 15 min walk to the city center. A nice grocery store and shopping center is a 5 min walk away. Breakfast was excellent!
- The hotel was next to the train station.
- Rooms were clean. Location was fine, close to train station and relative close of downtown. Breakfast was very basic but ok.
Cons -
- Do not stay here! The reception agent was the most rude, scary and unstable person I have ever encountered in 40 years and 130 countries of travel. He was screaming at me, mostly because I don't speak German (no one working at the hotel spoke a word of English) but he even screamed at the woman behind me and she spoke German. He seemed very emotionally fragile and I was afraid he was going to become violent. I recommend staying anywhere else in this charming town. The hotel had sent me an email at 10am saying my room was ready. Yet when I arrived at 11am the reception clerk said the room would not be ready until 3pm. This was on Christmas Eve and it was obvious from no cars in the parking lot and no one visible in the hotel during my 3 days there that the hotel was practically empty. The rooms have paper thin walls and my bed was more like a cot so the place seemed much more like a hostel than a hotel. My room was supposed to have a city view yet my room looked out over an abandoned building, the railroad tracks and a parking lot. It's right next to the train station but there are charming hotels with character in the town center.
- Beds were horrible to sleep on it. They need to improve customer services, some people in reception need to find another job, one night we just tried to ask about possibilities to leave the room after 11 a.m, even if we need to pay extra for it but that person answered NO, NO, NO, 11 a.m you have to be out with a very nasty aptitud. We would have been happy with just a simple polite response."We apologise but this is not possible", besides we don't speak German very well but we were trying very hard to communicate since this person say that doesn't speak English and even in the descriptions and comment of the hotel saying that they speak German and English, this is false. I have been on hotels with much better services and lower prices, this hotel is too expensive for the poor service that provide.
- There was no 24/7 reception so it might be a problem if someone plans to arrive late in the evening. The breakfast was okay but nothing special, with basic choice of products.

My room:Bed was really comfy. Room was clean. Bathroom spotless. Even had a kettle and coffees and teas for you. This was perfect.Room had a comfy chair. Big desk. Large tv.Staff were all really friendly and helpful.Location:Hotel has a good car park for guests. Easy to get in and out of.The hotel itself is in a nice spot.If you are wanting to go on the steam train, then the station is literally next door. The train departs from platform 3. And you pay on the train (at time of writing)To get to the old town turned out to only be a 5 minute walk. If I come back to Quedlinburg in the future then i’d defiantly come back here.
The hotel was located next to the train station but it was truly quiet and no noises during night. Otherwise very close to the old town, just 5 minutes walking distance. Room was renovated with huge, modern bathroom, cosmetics and hair-dryer. There was also cooker with tea/coffee in the room. The free parking was available just next to the property. We got also vouchers and all necessary information about the city and stay.

Lovely staff, great room, amazing breakfast, easy level walk to old town, supermarket close by.
Our arrival was delayed by problems on the railway line and we arrived eventually at 22.00. But at 20.30 we had received a call from someone who checked our plans and situation, completed some formalities for us and told us the PIN to get a key on arrival. This was very helpful indeed. The breakfast was also very good.
Very clean, close to the city, very good breakfast. (Plenty of products to choose from).
Defenetely the location is really good, only 10 min walking to the center of the city, the staff at the loby is really great and helpful.
Breakfast is not good, the staff during the breakfast was not helpful, sometimes you can hear the train as the main train station is close to the hotel.
Parking, location, breakfast, cleaning and staff was very good.
Only the sound from could be a downside, because of the need for fresh air. But we managed by only having the bathroom window open.
Great old school hotel vibe, with friendly staff and nice breakfast. Old town is an easy 10 min walk. Free parking spot is a plus.
Noisy conversation in the hallway by staff early in the morning.
Located very close to the station which serves both regional trains and the Harzer Schmalspurbahn.
Lack of airconditioning. Non-functional outlet right next to bed. Staff speaking close to no English.
Location, breakfast.
No wifi signal in my room.
Nice hotel with lovely staf. Good parking for our big car. Superb breakfast
Did`nt have a frigde
Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Lovely small hotel atmosphere. Very good value.
Easy to find hotel with parking, ten minutes walk from the centre of Quedlinburg. Room was functional and clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good enough but not outstanding.
Good location right on the main train station, great breakfast, very clean
There was instant coffee and tea in the room, cups, kattle, but they forgot about spoons/wood sticks to mix the sugar with.
Hotel located between railway and a road but the room was very quite and you could not hear any traffic. Free car park next to the hotel. Bright and clean room, newly built or renovated. Breakfast okay.
Breakfast was okay but we would have liked more fresh vegetable options, not just a very wet tomato/onion salad and a cucumber salad. Also scrambled eggs could be just scrambled eggs and doesn't have to have ham or mushrooms in it.
the bathroom was tidy, the breakfast quality was good, the hotel would have potential to improve beyond average if they want to, parking lots crowded but at least separated from street
they wrote me several times to rate the stay to have the chance to improve. we wrote the management about issues but never received a reply. so we wont ignore the rating request and will post it right here. the breakfast was a brute force battle. fight for a seat, fight for every empty cup, for every sip of juice, for every slice of bread. we have the impression this might be same on ballermann beach where they behave like that. not quiet it was nor cosy. room walls thin like paper where you could understand next rooms chat or other things happening there...spider on the ceiling according to the spider web resting there longer than just a few days
Nice location and close to city center. The room was super clean. All of the staff were friendly. We definitely recommend it.
