    Pros +

    • location, ambiente
    • The hotel is located very centrally and walking distance to most sites in town. The hotel is nice and staff very friendly. Our room was on the top flour and it was a pain to lug all the luggage up the stairs (there is no lift). The breakfast was ok, nothing special. There is plenty of parking, once you figure out how to get to it.
    • Beautiful castle, very nice staff everything was perfect!

    Cons -

    • breakfast including freshly pressed juice not provided
    • The breakfast was good but not excellent.
    • It would be nice if the Hotel has lobby or lounge. They do have a terrace with seating, but it is too cold to sit there in winter.

Location is top. Hotel is right next to Markplatz. Very comfortable and beautiful room + jacuzzi bath. Staff is very nice and freindly. Breakfast is very delicious, except breadrolls. Don't worry about non-buffet concept, they serve you plenty of food and it is possible to ask for a refill.

Large spacious room with a view in a stunning old building built in 1898. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Parking on site for €5 a day. And a short 2 minute walk into the town square. Very nice breakfast too. Beautiful grounds to walk in as well and a 700 year old tower right next door to climb for a fantastic view of the city. Outdoor terrace is a very nice place for a drink after walking around. Has a rooftop terrace too but was a bit cold for us to explore there.

Historic setting of a 19th century mansion. Very close to market square. Excellent breakfast. Convenient parking on the premises.

The hotel is located on a small hill, just a few minutes' walk from the town center. It has its own beautiful garden and independent courtyard. The hotel is a castle, with a beautiful exterior and elegant interior furnishings, allowing you to feel the owner's unique taste. Parking can be done downstairs, safely and conveniently. The room is very large and clean, the bathroom has plenty of water, and the shower is very comfortable. The staff are kind and friendly. The breakfast was extremely sumptuous, served by a dedicated person, and a full table was set up. In order not to waste food, I had to eat very full, and the staff even took the initiative to take photos for my husband and wife. I really hope to stay here for a few more days.

Without an elevator, moving luggage is a tedious task.

Staff were marvelous, what a superb breakfast and idyllic setting. Pro Tip - ask for Matilda Room!

Lots of stairs but that’s not an issue. It was great. Look forward to the completed repairs to the front.

Friendly staff, excellent location, good breakfast, characterful property, good parking onsite.

It was 30 degrees and we were at the top of the house with no aircon. A fan was provided but the weather was such that this was only helpful to a point. Be aware also that the property is listed and as such there is no elevator – hence there are many stairs to the third floor.

Beautiful period property. Lovely staff and great location.

    Everything was excellent

It was like walking in to a fairytale. The castle was so beautiful with a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly especially the breakfast hostess. She made us feel so welcome. The view from our room overlooking the old town and the church was amazing. We are definitely going to come back here. The town is also beautiful, clean, lots of nice places and friendly people to meet. Perfect with parking lots right on the property. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The weather was so humid and hot over 30 degrees. So an air conditioner would have been great. And fortunately there was a fan blowing in the room. Otherwise it was great

Location couldn't be better when the old town of Quedlinburg is the place to visit. This castle hotel is one of the nicest hotels we've visited and we've been in many places. Friendly stuff, own nice surrounding park, tower right in front of the hotel to check the town from higher and the roof terrace in the hotel to enjoy the evening view to town with a glass of wine. Perfect!

Inside the hotel was beautifully maintained and decorated to a very high standard. The hotel staff were excellent

Outside was not the romantic Castle as the pictures suggest

magnificent villa with castle ambience, centrally located

general interior of the room and floor could be more cosy, the beds were too soft at least for us

We found this to be a very likeable, and slightly quirky, family run hotel. The building itself is very attractive and interesting, the staff - and owner - all super friendly, the position in the town couldn't be better. It was quiet and comfortable and we really enjoyed breakfast on the terrace when the sun came out.

There were some decor choices which were out of keeping with the overall feeling of the building. It had been beautifully renovated using lovely materials, so the modern floor lamp in the otherwise beautiful hallway illuminating a flamingo holding a sign saying 'welcome' were incongruous. Seemed a shame to spoil such a mostly lovely interior with a small number of out of place details like that! Though also quite funny.

The service was outstanding, very attentive and kind. Love the building.

The bread roll could be better
